Liverpool Cathedral
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 15 พ.ค. 2009
From the very early days of its origins and then starting to build just after the turn of the 20th Century, through to its completion in 1978 after 74 long, hard, but rewarding years, the unfolding story of this great cathedral, the largest in the whole of the UK and the fifth largest in the world, is both fascinating and quite unique. It survived 2 World Wars, periods of recession and great hardship in this once famous and important port of Liverpool to become a tribute to the dedication of a great many people and their skills. Share the amazing journey through our site, as it becomes evident just how important the Cathedral is to the heart and the life of this now internationally acclaimed City of Liverpool.

Thank you for this beautiful X-mas message. Let us be the oneness and live the unconditional LOVE what Jesus brought to the earth 2000 years ago. May we all be as ONE ❤
Fantastic event, thank you for sharing!
Even at this speed the arpeggios are being muffled...
I need to spend a day in the Cathedral. 80 so I need to organise myself! 😊😊
Another symptom of the infestation of woke ideology into the church. The Anglican has become an insult to Christianity.

Music is distorted and distracting.
The music is so loud it is hurting my ears
Walking into Liverpool Anglican Cathedral - or any other sacred space - makes you feel more spiritual and one's human problems caused by life on this difficult earth become secondary, so why would you want an exhibition like this?
its so modern! Nice organ tho'
5:47 Bwv 552 Prelude E-flat/Es dur 14:25 fugue 22:14 Haeley Willan introduction..
Good old liverpool. ❤️ 🙏✝️
The Angles? What about the Saxons?
This ain’t gonna get bums on seats. It attracts people who have no desire to be Christian, and drives away those who do.
Gimmicks like this don’t get bums on seats.
It’s not going to get them in the church on Sundays.
Does the Church of England have any respect for itself anymore? Think of Christ when he cleansed the temple. “It is written, My house shall be a place of prayer, but you make it a den of robbers” ~Matthew 21:13
I completely agree. They'll do anything for money, these days.
So no fireworks or yes?
Is Tour Guide Keith Speed still living?
Disgusting doing that in a place of worship
Andolutely wonderful!!!!❤❤❤
That pina colada at the end would not be there without glass which probably would not be there without sand! Great information and linking with faith issues, which do not mean that we can or should go back to living in caves. Thank you all for this series which we have been enjoying since pandemic times.
Stunning
Top playing sunshine! ❤
I going to here

Amen 💜 Our beautiful Cathedral ❤
Hello how are you
GREAT JOB! We're going to be hearing a great deal from this young man in the future. Never played Liverpool but I have played St. John the Divine, NYC and faced the usual challenges playing in a room that's more like a cave. But it is so much fun.
My comment below was mainly in reference to the first ~15 minutes of the program.
I felt that the base reed was overpowering the rest of the music.
A wonderful acoustic for singing.
Just remembered about this and it’s still absolutely spellbinding
Omg 😲.......makes me sad 😔. Take me back to the 90s....
Home Sweet Home ❤️🩹
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Extremely misleading video. The acoustics were absolutely atrocious, and the projections were washed-out and unimpressive. It looked nothing like what was promised in this video. Walked out after ten minutes.
I loved it. Great projections and good sound.
FANTASTIC! What a wonderful experience! Well done to all
This organ is so beautiful I don't think one can really make a mistake on it. Love to hear some New Age kind of music with birds and/or wind, rain, frogs, thunder storms, etc. Thanks for sharing your heart with all of us out here in TH-cam Land. Have you considered bringing in color, light and the glories of Nature? Blessings.
Have you experienced Gert von Hoef's improvisation?
No I haven't. Thanks. I'll try to give them a listen. @@jerrycallender7604
