Thank you for this! I've been looking for a good lichen material forever. Is it possible to use this in SP on top of an existing material or does this only work in Substance Designer? I'm not able to get a scatter effect in SP but I'm not very experienced with it.
I didn't test it with Substance Painter but give it a try, it might work

Is this working in 5.3? I'm hesitant to purchase anything having to do with water in UE because it seems they aren't really supporting it (for now anyways..), EVERY tutorial I've followed thus far does not work in 5.3. If it is working, does the foam/ripple effect only interact with the shoreline in shallow water or does it foam on the top of waves and interact with players, etc? Thanks :)

Using Zeus Armor and max weapons, the sigil arrows allow the axe & blades to deal more damage.
I can't find this chest armor!
It can be found in the menu, it's not a chest, it's an appearence you apply to your armour by clicking edit appearance when you try to select one of the armours, this can be done in new game +

When I do this, the polish crisp edges looks all lumpy. Why is it doing that?

It still works yes, if some edges are very small you can mask the areas where those edges to polish them later separately.
@@abderrezakbouhedda5191 That's the greatest thing ever if true, it really makes high polys stupid fast and easy to make. Thank you! I guess I will have to research how to mask edges then, whenever I get to all that.

How well would this work when the main object you're doing bools to are cylinders?
How would I do this in Blender? Would I mark the edges sharp where it should be it's own edges? It would be a dream come true to not have to worry about control edges anymore... And subdivision.
This is not realistic at all
You can get a much thinner edge detect by piping the cells node (as example) directly into a normal node set to intensity of 50-100 (depending on what shape you use you can adjust it'sintensity to prevent weird circular lines from appearing).Then take the normal node into RGBA split and select the blue channel and change levels till the edges are pure black and white. Just as an addition to the technique you used here.
I remember seeing this bbq grill substance before, think it was on artstation. You deserve more credit for these imaginative ideas, well done!

what if you model your low poly then subdivide it before exporting to Zbrush so you dont have to polish by features and reduce poly count like you did on 12:48 . Will it work?

Hi man, finally I found a tutorial that I wanted to know some answers about polishing and stuff. Now I have one question. I have a problem when I trying to polish some objects with holes, but when I polish it, the holes getting smaller and smaller, so how to make those holes keep their place and not move if you know what I mean?
Make sure the holes do have different poly groups (inside ring) and have enough geometry in order to polish them perfectly.
@@abderrezakbouhedda5191 thanks for the feed back. I have one more question. Is this type of work can be used for bigger objects or projects like for example tank modeling and so on? Because I tried this to use it on tank modeling, its really problematic, for example if I find some tiny objects or some objects has narrow edges, it gets some twist.
