Some quick connector chucks are too bulky to reach valve stems inside the hole in "beauty disks" . Can I install a screw-on air chuck on the Skil 12v inflator like the Milwaukee has?

damn you cut alot of wood on a battery pretty impressive!! I just got this saw a few days ago.......and I'm not super happy with it. manufacture date was 2 2019, flex flex flex, table isnt flat across the whole thing, everything is out of adjustment. has alittle blade wobble like maybe a bearing. does yours have any of those problems? I tightened everything i could and it helped alot but still I get that there should be some flew but like with 1 finger I can literally hit sides of the plastic inserts on the table.

An M12 Fuel is faster than an M18 brushed, an M18 compact brushless is faster than an M12 Fuel, and the M18 Fuel and Flex are the fastest. However, my M12 fuel feels like it's made out of more expensive materials than my dad's Ryobi. PA6GF30 which is used in premium brand tools including Dewalt, Milwaukee, Flex, Makita, and Metabo HPT is a very hard but, ductile plastic.

I'm thinking of buying this Skil 12v inflator. I already have the 12v Skil 1/4" right angle impact with a 2Ah battery and a charger. I'm looking for a good inflator to keep in my car and the Skil 12v inflator (tool only) makes the most sense for my case. I'm also considering buying a 4Ah battery based on how the 2Ah battery performed here. Thanks for creating this comparison video, the equivalent Milwaukee did great too.

I own six of the tools in the PWRCore line. I'd own more but I was already deeply invested in Makita's 12V line (CXT). Small correction to one thing you said: The PWRCore 12 inflator and multicutter (not the multitool) use a brushed motor.

Got this saw from Amazon for home DIY stuffs. Didn't expect to be anything being good since its price tag is a bit above Ryobi brushed at local hardware store which don't even include battery kit. Moreover, I have never used any circular saw in my life. But the cutting felt like butter... O boy... It feels like... the saw is pulling me into the lumber! Did I just got spoiled? And yes, the battery charger also has USB type A... This is the only tool battery charger stays with my PC day job desk. I'll be delving into Skil 12V lines even more...

I have the Milwaukee and honestly I think I’m gonna pawn it and buy a skil. The skil platform is just so much better. And I’ve had problems with the Milwaukee, for example. I bought this for storing in my work truck, I noticed my tires got pretty low in the winter time. Busted this out to fill them up and nothing, the inflator wouldn’t work due to batteries being a bit cold. Had to store it next to the floor heater for about half an hour to get the device to power on, even with a full battery. I also notice the inflator tends to over inflate especially on small tires like bike tires. I’ll fill it up to 35psi, undo the line then reapply the line and it’s reading at almost 40-45psi. Now the Milwaukee does inflate faster likely but only pumps to a maximum of 125psi, the skil will pump to 165psi before cutting out if need be. The gauge also appears to be more accurate. And I like the quick connect feature. A problem I ran into with the screw on type is that it requires the threads to be perfect. I had my tires rotated and the mechanic must have banged something on the threads because now it’s dented, and the tire loses pressure faster than the rest.. but unfortunately I can’t screw the connector on anymore, rendering the inflator useless for me. Still gotta go to the gas station and pay t pump it up with a quick connector.

Is it loud stepping into the new floor? I have a combination of slab foundation and pier and beam. Everywhere where the floor is above ground (pier and beam), you can hear everyone's steps. We upgraded the floor years ago and now it creaks in certain spots. It didn't happen right away but over time in high traffic areas.

lol did you not have the audio on for the other 3 tools or is the Milwaukee just THAT loud? Also i have the same Masterforce impact Driver but the brushless version. I've had it for about 7yrs and it's held up extremely well, especially since about 3 or 4 months after I bought it I decided to take it apart to see what the insides looked like. I also have the regular cordless drill and the cordless weed wacker. I used to work at Menards so it was an obvious choice for them. Also while working at menards I ran a little experiment because I'm a destructive SOB and i poured about half a bottle of super glue into the vents of one of the same brushed impact drivers where the fan is and it still worked for about a month granted it smelled like burning super glue the entire time. Eventually it started smelling really burnt and while I was using it during our store remodel it started smoking and died, but it got a ton of use with the super glue in it during that remodel. I was actually able to take it apart and scrap all the burnt superglue off the brushes, put it back together and it ran at about 1/4 of the speed lol (I ended up throwing it away though).

You should never use an impact to final tighten wheel nuts. You are likely over torquing them. If over torqued, they can and do break off sometimes. I know this first hand. Only use a real torque wrench to do the final tightening.

this thing looks handy, in its drilling capacity, is it any worse than the regular drill? i have an m18 impact that's not crazy heavy and works great for heavy duty tasks. kinda looking for another drill in case my older m18 (brushed) drill craps out on be and the installation driver/drill looks like a good do-it-all option and save the m18 for harder tasks

I got the masterforce impact drill combo brushless max. The impact was huge for a 1/4 but the ring light was awesome. It had plenty of power also but the drill came messed up. Wouldn't go all the eay into 2 setting and sounded stripped out when you tryed to force it in. Returned and bought dewalt impact and drill combo. The 809 impact is way lighter and smaller. Seems like a little less power but seemed way easier to get the screws started with it over the masterforce. Once it starts impacting though the masterforce def had more power. Still sends 2in screws in instantly with both. The dewalt is alot better made plastics wise and the forward and reverse switch seems less cheap. Less modes on the dewalt though it doesn't had a 1 2 and 3 setting like the masterforce. Glad I switched over I've never had a bad tool so was an instant turn off for me towards masterforce unfortunately. Happy that I cut down on bag size and tool weight by almost 50 percent and still have a powerful setup.

I ran across your video today. My cousin said to buy a Milwaukee or Makita and then just stick with the brand so you can interchange batteries with other tools. When you're done with your remodel it will save it's cost over again in repairs and you will have a good tool. I'm thinking, true, and I'll be making a few dozen cuts and it might sit for a 5 years before I use it again. After reading this I was shopping for other stuff at Menard's while online and decided to check what they had for track saws. I saw one on close-out for $71.00 and they had one left, so I bought it. I haven't gotten it out of the box yet and I'll take it back if I don't like what I see. *I was there to buy saw horses too but they had folding clamping tables for the same price, same weight capacity. I had my doubts when I opened the box but they turned out to be very rigid when cranked all the open, and fold up flat against the wall. They looked a lot handier but they are only 2' wide. I very seldom work with a 4 x 8. Even for this remodel the widest is 25 1/2" and I have an old 30" hollow-core door I can use for table between them and I wouldn't have any more than that if I bought saw horses and the door hangs over 3" on side. You need some anyway for the saw blade.
