@@DeCalejozm that’s what’s happening to this video as well check engine light on and rev only goes up to 3000 rpm. Check all your fuses first

you can tap on the idle control valve as you can see in beginning of the video, if idle increased then that’s where the issue is. If not then clean the throttle body as shown in the video, this should fix the issue

Problem fixed, thought my intake doesn't have this idle control valve as yours I cleaned the throttle body and problem fixed even if it wasn't that dirty but enough to cause problems. Thanks for youe help.

Transmission doesn’t have rpm sensor, do you mean the crank angle sensor? That’s where you get signal for RPM. usually if that’s faulty you either get a fault code or engine doesn’t start.

It can be , sometimes the airflow meter does the same thing. You can check your o2 sensor with scan tool to see if it’s working.

You can try, it won’t hurt but most of the time it will need replacements.

There’s lot of things that can cause the high fuel consumptions, you can check the O2 sensors to see if they reading correctly following the steps on this video, it can be the airflow meter also and so on

Mine consume 5 litres for 34 to 37 kms

You mean the air flow sensor?

Can you state the accurate level of readings per the oxygen sensors?

My check engine light is one

Always best to start from basic and cheapest options.

@@3rminator What if you are having the same problems you talk about but with NO check engine light, could the oxygen sensor still be bad?

@@alexshatner3907 yes sometimes you don’t get the fault code, best to check the reading of O2 sensor to be sure. Bad airflow meter can cause this issues and also dirty throttle body.

@@3rminator I now have a new Throttle body and a new airflow meter, can a 02 sensor cause slow acceleration too?

Hi, you can use any scan tool that gives you live data, most scan tools give you this informations

Fuses for mirror should be located on the driver side near the steering wheel. I usually check all the fuses with ignition on and if one blown just replace it. Just make sure you getting power to the mirror, if you do then probably the motor has failed or it’s too weak.

@@3rminator i checked the mirror motor with 12 volts and its functioning. Im suspecting the control.. but i havent check yet the fuse coz i dont which of the fuse.. what is symbol look like in the fuse box?

@@neiljohntolentino6365 not too sure what the symbol looks like, but does the other mirror operate at all? if it does can be the switch fault. Just check all the fuses sometimes they link it with other functions of the car.

@@3rminator its not functioning when connected to the truck and control. I disconnect to test and motor works. Maybe I'll try with a new switch controller.

Hey mate , yeah while you driving and free revin won’t go over 3k and hits the limiter. I have had similar issue with a diesel Triton won’t go past 2500rpm only when driving and turned out to be blocked fuel filter

My is 4000 rpm

Have you tried swapping the coils and spark plugs to different cylinders to see if the misfire move ? Coil packs are very common on those engines

I changed the two coils and still missing

@@stanleyndana2246 have you done head gasket check to see if head blown? Could be leaking in between the cylinders

Hi, it sounds like either your throttle body has carbon built up around the flat or idle control valve sticking, open the throttle wide open and clean the carbons built up on the flap and the throttle body housing. Spray fair bit of carby cleaner inside the idle Control valve as well. Then start the car up and give it few revs. Make sure you are not experiencing any miss fire which can cause similar symptoms

Is you car manual or automatic transmission?

@@3rminator automatic, ATF and filter recently changed too

@@juliustay2541 if engine revs up fine but doesn’t pickup speed it’s most likely to be transmission issue and not the engine it self.

Check the fuse if it’s blown then replace it with, there should be spare fuses in fuse box also

Just do the basics and check the fuses, pull out the ecu and efi fuses and visually inspect them just incase they half burnt. Check the relays as well . Looks like there’s a bad connection somewhere causing the issue. it be good if you can scan it and pull out a fault code this way it direct you in a right area. Your cat won’t be causing this issue

Engine light on? Check for codes Have you pulled the fuse out and checked it? Sometimes they burnout halfway and won’t give enough power. If fuse ok check for fuel pressure and go from there.

@@3rminator just fixed it, looks to be like its the fuse box or maybe a relay I tapped the box on the sides and top ande heard something click and its started working again ,, no more sputtering and revs are back to normal.. cleared check engine and hasn't popped up again just drove it for about 40 miles everything seems ok
