VeryMadeleine Self-Portrait Series: 📚September 📚
Another month goes by and a new idea comes along. September is obviously associated with back to school and new beginnings, so for this month I decided to do a school picture day themed portrait and video. I wanted it to have a retro feeling, somewhere clashing between 50’s, 80’s and 90’s?? I had a lot of fun editing this one and playing around with different effects. I swear every month goes faster than the last. I took my photo in a Photo Booth earlier this month and it inspired this months self-portrait and once again the theme of joy and play. These little boxes force us to be spontaneous and in the moment and it’s always fun to see what faces we’ll pull when under a time crunch. Thanks!! I used a special collage glue, I believe it is a starch based glue, and yes I made the box out of bass wood
