You know, in hindsight to Sonic 3, Walters' "My God" actually makes a lot of sense, seeing he was actually involved in project Shadow as well shutting down. Didn't think he'd have that type of connection to Shadow before watching the movie. Walter's knew he had to start counting down his days. His fear did come true, just not in the way he expected. The profrssor probably knew about Walter and his connection to Shadow, hence why he went after him.

I was never really convinced by Longclaw dying of old age, because she didn't seem very old to me.

I dunno why, but I kinda don't prefer this. Yes, it gives a lotta depth to both sonic and Longclaw both. But I think it kinda drew out a bit more than it needed too and felt pretty cliche. I like teh "Gets to the point" backstory that they remade for us.

My God Project Shadow

Well, now we know why Commander Walters sounded especially shocked when he figured out Shadow was returning. *SPOILERS BELOW* Cause he was the one who put Shadow in that stasis pod.

Design aside, I do like it give a bit more depth between longclaws and Sonic! The only thing I never was a big fan of is long claw design being that of a hyper realistic owl. Also, I understand why they invented her as they wanted to make their own canon but the Archie and SatAM fan in me can’t help but feel she could have so easily been made into Uncle Chuck 😅haha!

So he was frozen here but in some kind of liquid in the 3rd movie

Hard to believe, after this light hearted Post Credits of vacation in Space, comes some dark elements of Secret Invasion and No Way Home 😥
