I never have been able to get my truck to allow me to enter the measurement. I have it installed and I can see out the back. Everything works it just would not let me add the measurements so you don't see the camper just the video out the back of it. Which is ok but would love to see the trailer also. Any advice on how to get the software to request the measurements?

Just wondering how you get to the lock. Does removi g the propane tank cover give you room?

Vw made one you could buy in the 1970's just search for 1970's gooseneck trailer and you will find it.

Thank you guys! Got this exact bin to transport my new XP 3.0 for next week. Fits perfectly in there- the proportions of this bin are made for this bike. Bonus points: I also just got the Wike DIY bicycle trailer. I’m making it custom-sized to fit around this bin. So the Wike chassis breaks down flat, it slides in the Rogue either alongside or under the bin (without hitting the car ceiling). Once at the beach house, I use the ebike and Wike only to go back and forth to the beach. So the bike container transforms into the bike trailer! Win, win!!!

How wide are the containers?

Is the hasp welded to the top of the box? I see three bolt heads, an unused hole and what looks like gunk. Can you elaborate on what's going on there? Thanks!

Pretty clever! If I may, one suggestion: Put some protection (piece of old carpeting or something) over bumper and then put the wheeled end of the tote in first. That way you wouldn't have to lift entire tote/bike off the ground, just get the wheels up to the bumper. Happy travels!

Just ordered the GM Camera... We have a mounting point already on the trailer`s back wall, but that is at the top of the trailer, so I will likely only use it for the backup feature also... Will see :D

How are you liking it so far? I have the Grand Design Imagine XLS 22BHE and a 2024 Sierra 1500 I’ll be towing it with. Just about to purchase this camera system. I also mostly just want it as a rear camera but for the price and wired right into the main screen it seems like a no brainer over some cheapo sketchy system or even more expensive systems that are just a camera. I like how there’s also backup assist built in with this too. Thats what I’m excited about as I don’t have a ton of trailering experience. Do the backup assist options help much? Thanks

How many miles did it take to calibrate. I just installed mine today and i couldn't calibrate it over two straight miles. It was cloudy so that may be an issue.

It seems to me the sync is lost when the battery disconnect happens between camping trips. Can anybody confirm this????

GMG's (and others...) are china scrap metal junk. Buy an American made smoker with 1/8th to 3/16'ths thick metal and a US made pellet system. I have had 3 of the GMG's and 2 Traeger's. The original Traeger was built in Oregon. Since then, they are junk. I finally spent the money and bought a thick, heavy made US smoker and I'll never have to buy another one. Don't be fooled by the bells and whistles. Just lipstick on a pig.

50 gallon is a better fit. Less wasted space

A better alternative avoiding any heavy fat tire e-bike lifting. First raise the empty plastic container vertically, then roll in the foldable 60 pounds Aipas A2 Elite (almost identical e-bike to Lectric XP 3.0) to the vertically-positioned bin. Unfold the car dog ramp and slide the bin with the foldable step-through e-bike in the vehicle trunk. No any lifting required compared to video-displayed method. Enjoy your e-bike transportation.

Can you give me any information on the metal battery box you have on your RV?

Will the rear camera view stay on screen continuously when driving at highway speeds or does it time out? When driving at night and a vehicle approaches from the rear do their headlights whiteout your viewing screen? If backing into a campsite at night is there sufficient light to see clearly? Does the camera have IR lights and camera function for low light?

You didn't mention which Lectric bikes you both have. I have an XP 3.0 and my partner an XP Lite. The 40 gallon totes I got are too small for the 3.0, but I haven't tried the Lite with the tote yet.
