How to replace a fuel shut off solenoid and relay for a 1994-1998 Dodge diesel
In this video I show how to install and hook up a fuel shut off solenoid and relay. In the video there are pictures of the exact items that I have purchased from Amazon and Ebay for you to purchase if needed, it will cost you no more then 100$ and one hour of your time to complete this repair.

Probably the new 589’s bcuz of the one piece windshield
Well, that sure killed the mpg.
1200km per tank don’t worry! Haha
That starter is working as hard as the engine
More mileage on the starter then the engine
We just replaced the solenoid and it won’t shut off now. Could it be the relay?
Did you figure it out?
@@monahumada7535 took some time but yes. The new solenoid was sticking when turning off the truck. I had to physically push the solenoid down by hand. Now it’s doing fine. Had a few second delay.
@@MannyTheBootmakerDo you by any chance know what the relay part number is?
@@monahumada7535 1:38 to 1:47 in the video shows you all the parts.
@@jintergarage I figured it out. It was the relay and the #9 Engine 10 amp fuse. I kept the original FSS
Mopar or no car baby!
Just run a locking cable from dash to fuel lever…cheap and won’t leave you stranded like electronic components…that’s what I did on my ‘97
