This game needs a graphics rework😅

I enjoy playing in the open world and going through the story with my many toons. And yes, the old world is still nice for that. SotO introduced some interesting map ideas, but they didn't hold up as long os other maps in my opinion. The music of the base game is in large done by Jermy Soule. After that Macleine Diemer took over as lead composer - with many other composers contributing as well. The SotO soundtrack is not on the top of the list when I rank the expansions, but I like the the HoT and EoD soundtrack very much.

I think the floating island concept of SoTo was interesting at first but it gets old. But it's good there exists an expansion that does that to make flying more meaningful and it's some variety. I'm guessing with the Warclaw we are getting a more land based expansion with mountain regions to climb/scale and jump around on the warclaw. I'm also guessing the metas will have a lot of walls to siege.

Even hot maps graphically is better n music too thn soto.

I know what you mean. I am sick to death of kryptis, and grinding for obsidian armor. I will NEVER go back to that expansion again once my armor is done. Not happening.

For an expansion the SotO maps were very underwhelming, sure the Wizards tower area was pretty but the maps felt empty of exploration and mystery, they were copy paste of other maps from previous stories floating in the air. I wonder how many people were absolutely frustrated with navigating them. Nayos was disgusting, all around, and like you I didn't connect with the creatures at all. I truly hope that Janthir Wilds returns to the GW2 that we know and expect, beautiful landscapes, story and much better exploration.

Tip: Wanna salvage all your gear by rarity at once? Just right click on your salvage tool and choose "Salvage All Fine, Masterwork, or Rares." Also, right click on your chests that pop up on the bottom-right corner of your screen at the end of an event, and it will quickly add the chest's contents to your inventory. Don't underestimate the power of the right click in this game. 🖱

i gotta say, i did my first world exploration for legendary crafting before glider came out, and now that i've got mounts i'm so glad i can skip alot of it. world exploration on foot was NOT fun(to me at least)

Warclaw will have masteries, you talked like they wouldn't do anything new to it. I heard it will have Double Jump and people are speculating in will be able to climb. It makes perfect sense to iterate /upgrade the most useless mount.

I wonder how they will make spear for guardian because DH thematically is using a spear, so perhaps the new spear would complement power DH because DH is the least popular guardian spec

what pathing mod do you use? I noticed your lines were green... mine are all the same color with minor variations so I have to turn them off / on or it's a mess of same looking lines. ok just says "Pathing" ok I'll pull that one tonight. Think I'm using Tekkits, which is GOOD but yeah....

Not long ago I did the collections in LW3 for Gleam os Sentinence. Ones of those collections had stuff hidden really well on the map. I didnt find any module that showed me how to get to the collectibles, only showed their location. Is the any modules in pathing that also shows the path to a "hidden" collectible?

Jumping Puzzles? Pathing's got you covered. World Bosses and Events? There's a module that drops alerts with a counter of minutes until start (left click to copy nearest Waypoint, right click to dismiss). There's even a notebook module that lets you title, add pages and edit your notes ( a must for us Gourmets trying to remember how to make compost!). Just get the thing. And unlike ArcDPS you don't have to delete a DLL file when there's a patch (ArcDPS also acts as a module in BlishHUD). Took me over a year to get it and now I'll never go back to being without it.

how do you get the map meta-event timer on the mini map? i can't find that setting.

Just a lil extra sidenote You get a buff from convergence (if you have the mastery) that boosts your rift essences when u use a rift motivation. With full mastery, the buff and motivation, you get about 40-55 essences per rift. So its still the best method. But yea, do your weekly convergences for good income aswell
