That exact scenario that ended the game with Xisuma was discussed in Tango's stream, when he installed the trash system. His take was, that you shouldn't throw trash towards the customers. So, it's not a bug, it's a feature.

1:46:15 It's so rude when the trial chambers destroys player loot from the spawners. I'm wondering if it would help to put a non-solid block like a top slab or a fence post on top. Anything that wouldn't burn and wouldn't make the items pop off. I know you can also put a hopper minecart inside of the spawner, but I wouldn't do that unless I was setting up something permanent. It would be way too easy to forget to check them all for the goodies.

I need to do a trial chamber to test my theory. Im behind in actually trying haha. But my theory is: In the vault, if you see the item, you get that item and then random ones after. So if you see an emerald floating in the vault and put your key in, the first item you'll get is the emerald. I feel like thats what happens when other people have opened the vaults (from the people i have watched.), but ive never done a deep dive test myself.

I started going back and watching Tango's latest Satisfactory 1.0 streams starting with his first episode. Then I started watching Pearls instead. Pearl, I love your Satisfactory streams more. I bought the game after I was part way through your first episode.

Watching you move in games is insane. Your mind works so fast.

The way how you use the dimensional depot can make it get stuck because if you put even 1 item above the limit, it will stop uploading and no other items will pass through even though they're not over the limit. Typically you'd use one industrial storage per item and put a DD uploader on top, connecting them with a lift, this means you build as many DD uploaders as there's item types and they all upload at the same time, often people will even put multiple uploaders on concrete.

You produce the basic things from iron in one building (basic plates, rods, screws) , then you send it to another building where you have further processing, then things in one building don't have to align with things in the other building.
