Here in 2024 and my god mother just told me about this joke while going through an opioid withdrawal 💀😂 funny as fuck “ JUST SHOOT UP IN HERE ONE OF HAS GOT TO HAVE SOME RELIEF” takes a while to get there but that’s just how they were/are and that’s exactly how I felt 💀
He was a good man. He loved all people regardless of race, color or creed. He was a devout Christian but didn't hate anyone. Above all, he was hilarious. His stories were so absurdly funny because of the way he told them. RIP.
Does this ol' boy's heart good to see so many still enjoying this man's clean humor. Staple of my childhood in the 90s riding dirt roads and listening to Clower tapes.
I love this man! I wish he were still alive today telling us his stories. He was pivotal in my decision to get me 2 Redbone coonhounds from WV. I named them Beaucephus and Beauregard and they were brothers. They were mighty fine coonhounds and I loved every second we were out hunting. Thank you Jerry for helping me to get out and make some awesome memories and for making me laugh so hard. RIP Brother
I had the privilege of seeing Jerry just months before he died. I had heard him all my life and was finally able to see him. It was amazing. None better.
From the comments I've seen I think that Mark Twain is sorely misunderstood. He wrote about his own upbringing and the people and places he had experienced.

This story came to mind earlier tonight as i told my daughter and son in law about a bar fight i found myself in 40 years ago. Meanest, toughest guy i ever fought literally waa kicking ass and taking names. I hollered to a friend to "go get the gun," the fellow replied "we got guns too!" After a very short pause i went back to hollering "Go get the gun! Go get the gun!" 😂😂😂😂 true story!

I’m from Amite County. When Jerry moved back from Yazoo, I was working for my uncle and we hung the drywall in their new home
This is one of our old time favorites. Jon Webb and all my hunting buddies got a kick out of Jerry Flower's stories.
I was raised listening to Jerry and Justin Wilson
Hi I'm from the south too
