IPA community: 'Emily' example of some IPA coding
มุมมอง 23K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Here is an older video clip, which combines a single slide from my data analysis teaching with some audio commentary about that slide. It illustrates the interplay between different levels of analysis in IPA, and the level of detail which coding is likely to involve. Its not the most dynamic of videos, I'm afraid, but when I made it, it allowed me to test that the link between the TH-cam page a...

Sorry, I didn't get the major point, so what IPA really helps to do? There's the 'Emily' case, she's informing about herself saying something, so... what? If we'd extract anything useful from the text, we might have put it to the below sections of it adding the latter to the former. I haven't seen anything new to add

In Template Analysis, you can bring an a prior structure to the data, and then adapt that structure as the analysis develops

Hello, thank you for the very informative video. I had a question regarding presentation of themes when the sample size is relatively large (6). Do we have to include every participant's experience in every sub-theme? Or is it acceptable to include at least 3 participants' experience, so long as all participants feature in the overall master theme? I'm just worried about word count. Thank you in advance.

HELLO GUYS. so let me update you all on how it went. I managed to scrape a 59 for my dissertation. But because all my other grades were above 70 or high 2nds, I literally SCRAPED AT FIRST CLASS DEGREE. Two points less would have been a 2:1. Moral of the story, YOU CAN STILL DO FANTASTICALLY, JUST DO NOT LEAVE IT UNTIL THE NIGHT BEFORE AND RISK IT LIKE I DID 🥰🤓
