A Chinnese sentence structure I find difficult is Subject + 对/和/把 + Object + Verb. It doesn't exist at all in English or in my own language. It took me a while to be able to use.

The SVO order is one of the easy things about Mandarin. The Verb thing is also an easy thing. The measure words can be a challenge because they get used a lot more than in English. What trips me up more is that Mandarin puts "all" the modifiers in front. For example, "The CEO of Nanxia Company, who is the richest man in South City, is here" becomes something like "Nanxia Company's, South City's richest man's CEO is here" ... lol ... it took me a while to grasp the logic of this. Fun times ... lol

I use both my bilingual italian-chinese dictionary which has pinyin, strokes and radicals, but I also use Pleco, which has the same functions as a traditional paper dictionary but you have more features like drawing the character. For beginners pleco is quite useful and free (unless you want special features or subset of dictionaries in different languages).

Thank you very much for the video! Especially it is really nice to know the idioms, so to understand or use more literary expressions. Since you asked for some feedback or "wishes", I will write: One thing maybe to add would be to explain the broader/other meanings of a sign. Like the word 雷电 to also add that 电 means "electricity" which helps to understand why it also is "thunder". Another thing: it would be useful to say a new word repeatedly when you mention it the first time... maybe to say it 3 times, not just 1, because it will be difficult to catch the how to pronunciation in the first time. Ps. same with the idioms: maybe they could stay visible for a longer period and you could repeat them some times. Right now I have to pause quickly to read them and write them down :) Just meant this as a constructive feedback. Thank you very much for your videos and 加油 !

Thanks for making video for the people who want to learn Chinese like I do. One of the interesting way of learning Chinese, which is not covered by non-native speaker is that how the native speaker learn Chinese in the first place, which you partially covered in some of your video. Could you do more sentence pattern videos? I really liked your 把 and 被 videos. They were very helpful! I think there are a lot of sentence patterns that chinese speakers take for granted, but don't make sense to an English speaker. Sentence patterns like 即使...也,or ...越...越. I can't think of them all, but sentences like those, where its hard to translate individual words, but the meaning changes a lot. Also your chinese history videos are also very interesting! I think it would be cool for you to explain some stories and the four word phrases that go along wirh them. Anyway, thank you for your content and keep up the good work!

Chinese has no case declensions, no verb conjugations, no grammatical gender, plural forms, not even articles. Its basic grammar is pretty simple. That doesn't mean that it has no complex stuff at all, it does. Grammar stuff in Chinese is mostly about giving things the proper order, using the right connections, knowing how to use a lot of different patterns (like 又...又...), how to use the particles like 了, 把. But yeah, I'd say it's not the hardest part of the language.
