Your betta needs a decent fish tank instead of living in glasses and small bowls.

Tip #1: Keep your betta fish in an actual tank bigger than a small cup of drinking water. Minimum 5 gallons.

Actually i've seen my betta fish grew it's tail back after fierce fights. When they grew their tails, the water gets a little slimy like that of saliva. Just make sure to give em some rest & clean the water
