Is this the REAL Beetlejuice house?
The Beetlejuice house was depicted as a gateway to the Afterlife but in reality, it was a spec house that was constructed and deconstructed atop a hill in East Corinth, Vermont. But in the nearby town of Rutland, Vermont sits a home that is eerily similar and the souls who once called this home have crossed over to the Afterlife, some within these very walls. This is their story.

    On the other hand, as far as the third class is concerned, no gates were ever closed. This is a cliché that comes from the film Titanic, and was added to the film by James Cameron for a slightly more dramatic effect. In fact, none of the testimonies of the third-class survivors mention closed grilles. There were almost no grilles inside the Titanic, but there was a staircase at the stern which was accessible to all third-class passengers, and which had no grilles at all, leading up to the stern deck at the stern. Indeed, many third-class women survived and climbed into the lifeboats. And it's true that it wasn't easy to get into the boat, so that's why a lot of three-class passengers perished, and also there were a lot of men between 3rd classes, and men weren't allowed to get into the lifeboats, so that's what led to their downfall, but not the gratings Otherwise superb video, thank you. 😊

      Thank you. I disagree that the gates were not locked. Annie did newspaper interviews after her rescue and describes standing at the gates yelling and pleading to be allowed passage to the boat deck. She pulled herself over the gates as water was seeping into the steerage deck. I refer you to The Evening Mail Newspaper from Tuesday April 30, 1912.

      @@howyoucametobe3787 Yes I agree with you, but perhaps she wasn't talking about gates as in the film, but simply doors, and I don't think there were people holding the third class down, because there's no evidence to support that, in fact I'm in the process of writing and placing all the survivors in the lifeboats and I've put Annie Jane Jermyn in collapsible lifeboat C which left on the starboard side at 2 a.m. with 43 people on board for 47 places, but you're going to tell me what proves that she was in this boat, it's the fact that she talked about pushing the lifeboat outwards because of the port list and that's what happened to the collapsible C and it was the last lifeboat to be lowered onto the starboard side using the davits and thank you for your reply.

      I didn't trace down every line of her ancestry, so she could be Italian. She is definitely part Caucasian, and I think that being from the Pre-Civil War American South, she could very well be Nigerian, but records cannot confirm this, she likely did a DNA test. According to Google, 14.6% of American slaves came from present day Nigeria.

    The information that has persisted since the time of the engagement interview of Meghan and Harry is that a set of great-grandparents or perhaps great-great grandparents on Doria’s side of the family were actually siblings. I first saw this in a chat from a woman who left this astonishing comment.She claimed her family had known Doria’s mother’s family for many years. This bit of family lore was an open secret but only talked about in hushed whispers. Have you by chance come across this information too?

    • @howyoucametobe3787
      @howyoucametobe3787 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, I did see this. It had to do with her grandmother Jeanette's father, James and his half-sister, Nettie Mae. Because Jeanette was raised by Nettie Mae, I think that led people to believe that she was biologically James and Nettie Mae's. But based on her stillborn twin's birth certificate, it was clear that James and Christine were the parents, and not James and Nettie Mae.

    • @susiefraser9182
      @susiefraser9182 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I see, thanks for explaining all of this. The woman who left the comment wasn’t trying to be rude or sensational she was just telling things as she had always heard them to be. She felt this family “secret” explained the behaviour and temperament of MM and her mother. So, if this persistent story about the family isn’t true why has no one in the family ever come forward to set the record straight?

    • @howyoucametobe3787
      @howyoucametobe3787 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To be honest, I had never heard this rumor until I researched her history for this project. I saw a comment on Jeanette's Find A Grave record that said she was not Nettie Mae's daughter. I never found Jeanette's birth certificate, but I did find the birth certificate of the stillborn boy born on October 4, 1929, to James Arnold and Christine Harrison. Though Jeanette's birth was reported to be September 4, 1929, I have seen even the year of birth change over time. I thought the fact that it was the same day of the month and only 1 month later that it was her twin. Otherwise, we are saying that James conceived a child with Christine at age 17, whom he would later marry, and a child with his half-sister Nettie Mae within the same month, which seems like an unfair characterization.

    The house was bought by an out of town developer in 2023, who has turned it into a sober house for recovering addicts of all sorts. It was still a single family home when I lived across the street from it for over 43 years. The area in which the house sits was the last surviving zoned residence A with no commercial buildings. Sadly that has now changed unfortunately. I also have to comment on the information given in the video that the house served as a hospice for terminally ill children in 2001 to 2004. The woman who established the hospice was defrocked as a charlatan and someone who defrauded the public and used the money raised for her own benefit and never helped any dying children as stated in the video. The author is relying on initial newspaper articles. It was never made pubic in the papers or in the news that the charity was a sham but it was, and all the charity's donors pulled away after looking at her financial statements which are publicly available online. The author of this video did not do her homework about the charity whose name was "Hearts and Hands".

      @@howyoucametobe3787 The house will not be sheltering anyone it seems as I have just learned that the new owner has defaulted on his mortgage after owning it for one year, and the lender has foreclosed on the house for non payment of the mortgage. There will be a public auction to satisfy the bank loan. It would seem that the prospective new owner never had the funds to carry this off successfully. Group homes for recovering addicts are a good thing as long as they are not forced into Class A Residence Zoned areas of a city where they will only create hard feelings from the neighbors who have maintained their historic houses for many years. There are many other venues for shelters. This area of the city was zoned a national historic neighborhood and should not have sober houses. Did you know that New Bedford currently has 27 sober houses? How many does a city need? They are shipping people with addictions into New Bedford from all over the state. Not a great way to keep historic New Bedford a vibrant city that depends on tourists who visit the city every year. There are currently recovering addicts living in the house and I could post a picture of them smoking cigarettes outside the house and tossing their cigarette butts on the sidewalk. They are not properly supervised as they elect one of the addicts to become the manager of the house.

      A fertilized egg splits to become identical twins so I believe the male genetics can play a roll.

      @@howyoucametobe3787 The splitting of an egg for identical twins is random. Sperm has nothing to do with that. As for hyperovulation, if a male inherits the gene that encourages hyperovulation he can pass that gene on to female offspring but not his female partner. So a male having twins in his family does not increase the likelihood that he would have twins…

      @@howyoucametobe3787 I think I'm lucky with the respect that, even though I am Canadian, my paternal grandmother was born in Scotland, Jane Rankin Rennick (1902-1987), but what I did not know until I started doing my Scottish research on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk (great resource for Scottish research), was that her paternal grandfather, John Rennick (abt. 1834 - 1894) was born in Ireland. When I was about 11 years old, I made a comment about St. Patrick's Day and wearing green, my grandmother gave m a lecture about how she is Scottish not Irish. If she had only known. She had the thickest Scottish brogue, I have heard, sometimes it was hard to understand her. My paternal grandfather was born in England, my paternal grandparents were married in Golden, BC. My maternal grandfather's parents were born in England and my maternal grandmother's parents were Welsh and French, respectively. I have also had my DNA done.

(I know he's from Ohio, but his legacy and current life (much like her beloved family, especially her Grandmother Marjorie) are in Missouri.) All things circle back around! Hey! There's an ancestry suggestion: Travis (& Jason) Kelce. Would also love to see Céline Dion (my personal favorite!), Vince Vaughn, Jennifer Garner, Rebecca Field, Erin Karpluk, Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones, Demi Lovato, Any of the boy bands members (1D, Backstreet, NSYNC, 98°...), and, well, I could go on and on! lol Hope to see more soon!
