@@borracho-joe7255 last time I checked the stocking schedule in March they hadn’t stocked it since November. I honestly thought they just weren’t gonna stock it this year lol

They stopped stocking it with trout because it started to get hotter and I hadn’t fished a whole lot since April 2021 because I’ve just been too busy hence why I haven’t been making any videos. Also last I checked which was about a week ago they haven’t stocked Hansen dam this year yet.

I’ve so far never caught a trout and your videos made Me go today to Santa Ana River lake’s today but didn’t catch anything continue making videos and do you you know Any other trout lakes that I could catch my first trout

@@Shneursulami yeah Santa Ana is a hit or miss but when you hit they’re always big ones. Hansen dam is pretty easy to catch trout because it’s small. I just checked the stocking schedule and it looks like the last plant for Hansen was Nov 27 2021. The only other place that I can think of is diamond valley reservoir but it’s pretty far. They have rainbows and I’ve heard of people catching lightning trout there

Yes you need a license. You can go to any sporting goods store or Walmart to get a license. Walmart is usually hit or miss meaning they will tell you “their systems are down” or whatever. I usually go to Big 5 and I never have a problem with them. Just make sure you bring an ID with you.

Barbless baitless only above the johnsondale bridge. I believe everything below that is fine. Also above the johnsondale bridge is a 14 inch minimum with a 2 fish limit

Pretty much. We just stuck between north landing and green banks

In this video we were at north landing and obviously had a lot of hook ups. Another good spot is alligator point. The best time depending on how you fish would be from now til august 1st. They just stocked it heavily the weekend we went in this video. But after August first the regs change to barbless and baitless and 2 fish bag limit 18” minimum

Yeah I wanted to throw some mini jigs but it was way too windy there

Thanks man! Yeah there’s a turn off off of Benton crossing road. But you have to pay like $10 for day use and I think it’s $75 to camp there.

@@mustfish5669 Nice, worth if if you can find more elbow room instead of going through that marina. What was that whole th ing about the stringer being thrown in the lake and you breaking up with your GF, the video didn't capture what happened but I thought that was hilarious!

@@MuddyBootsOutdoors my girlfriend chucked my almost 3lb fish on the stringer into the lake and it untied from whatever it was tied to and the whole stringer went in with the fish and I was just messing with her that if the fish swam away with my stringer I would’ve broken up with her(I would never do that but I would’ve been pissed) but jokes on me because that fish actually bent the clip on my stringer and got away that day anyways lol

Yes we were. None of us saw the sign they have posted until we had left. It was an honest mistake and l felt pretty bad about it. Luckily all the fish swam away unharmed and it will never happen again.

You need to make a video showing that it's wrong to bait fish up there people like you are the problem why the fisheries don't stay wild and good please do the right thing and post a video admitting that you are wrong all those fish that you caught were poaching and you should be reported to the fishing game which I have no problem doing you seem to give yourself away on your Instagram and TH-cam please make a video to fix this

I do not condone poaching in any way. It was my first time I’ve ever fished Kern and you’re right I should’ve done my research. Like I told Logan it will never happen again and I’ll do what I can to right the wrong. I don’t know if a video would suffice because I don’t get a lot of traffic on this channel but maybe I can just erase the description and admit my fault and tell people not to do this in the description

I’ve caught small bass and tilapia on rooster tails before so they should. I haven’t been to balboa in a while because of how cold it was but I’ll probably come back and see how the bite is. You should try drop shots or Texas rigs because the fish are probably still lazy rn
