I love that the reason she thinks she's the hero is BECAUSE she's pretty. The first descriptor for Bishoujo Sailor Senshi Sailor Moon is *pretty* and all of her posing is around that genre. She's not just trying to turn it into a star-crossed lovers show, she's trying to make it into the archetypal action shoujo manga, and having a form that spins and pirouettes like a sailor transformation just drives that home even more. You can imagine a world where the SAME events shot with different focus, music, and pallette and giving us only her inner monologue COULD be presented straight-faced as a magical girl story.

Season 2 has been confirmed for July 2025. Fun fact: Hanae Natsuki who voices Kamado Tanjiro in "Demon Slayer" also voices Takamura Ken (Okarun) in DanDaDan. And Abby Trott who voices Kamado Nezuko in the English dub of "Demon Slayer" voices Ayase Momo in "DanDaDan".

Sir you should absolutely binge through the manga. It's totally worth the read, makes you fall in love with and root for the characters and slow burn even more, and I can't WAIT to see some of the scenes be animated ❤

Aria is definitely a good person, which can be found later in the manga with some great and wholesome moments. Plus, she has the potential to be a great mother

It was interesting to me that Okarun never found out about what happened or why momo and aira were crying, but he never asks about it or tries to interfere, which goes to show his emotional intelligence despite not being around people much

I think the scene with the Acro Silky is a large redeeming moment for Aira because she used her talent of telling someone what they want to hear but it was solely for the other person's benefit _and_ it was the truth. She got to use her talent in a healing way, not a hurtful one. It signaled to me that Aira is obviously very flawed just like the rest of the characters are, but at her heart she's a good person. I hope that remains true.

I’ve seen this movie multiple times and it stunned with Gwen every time more than miles. The way the writers have her set up for some kinda redemption is truly so great

To quote another comment I saw: "Gwen hid the truth so she didn't hurt Miles, but hiding the truth hurt Miles even more."

It’s actually kind of funny how later on she realize how she’s not really acting the way she used to act showing how yeah this was just basically a phase and façade and some animes don’t like to basically have a character lose there habits and just reduced them back to their season one counterpart but for akira she’s just kind of realizing yeah she doesn’t need to put up the façade and she can basically just be herself. She can still be self-centered seriously she’s an idiot, but she’s a lovable idiot

That’s actually crazy that some people think it’s one sided, it’s so obvious that Gwen loves Miles as much as he loves her, if not more.

My favorite moment so far was after the Nessie/Mantis Shrimp battle she had a perfect chance to throw Momo under the bus and come out unscathed and possibly more popular. However, she has a moment of reflection and actually stands up for Momo. I like it because she doesn't even know why she did it, considering how she sees Momo as "demon".

As much as i love Aira, lets not forget that she technically assulted Okarun in that one episode, and everyone just brushed over it. If a guy tried to force a girl to kiss him with the influence of such magazines it wouldnt be taken this lightly.
