I live in PV and Torrance is great! All kinds of neighborhoods and the old downtown is very compact and virtually unknown to others in LA county.

Wilshire Center/ Koreatown is also a highly walkable area if you're looking for that large busy & bustling city feel, but unfortunately safety can sometimes be an issue around there.

El Segundo is such an odd town. Where else in America are there million dollar homes tucked between a major airport, a water treatment plant, and a major oil refinery. Haha That being said, it’s a great place that I often visit.

There is no good place to buy in LA.

That’s funny, I don’t know if this person is even from LA, but the only place maybe I would live in is playa vista, but that’s still to congested. The other locations are great to visit but I would never live there. To hot!

Is the Library still there i thought it was the most beautiful Library i ever seen overlooking the ocean. I lived there in the 80's i don't think the wilderness park was there then but it looks great.

Happy Redondo resident here. Redondo was a boring place when I was single😂, but I can't find anywhere better now with our littles. so glad that we are raising our kids here.

Ha,ha. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please don't come here, but I will sell your home to leave. It's expensive because of you. Upstate New Yorker native is now SOCAL living expert. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

One other thing to mention about Torrance is they have a real hard ass permitting process for remodeling.

I bought my first house a few years ago in West Torrance ant age 28. First generation American. The VA home loan helped a lot. Anyway, I grew up in Torrance realized there is NO PEACE in the South Bay. I started looking in Redondo, PV, even San Clemente (lived there when I was in the Marines) and opted to leave So Cal entirely. Sold it after a year and moved up to a small town on the central coast called Pacific Grove. Here there is peace.
