There are some good lighted nock options. I think you should try some for the future. Halo nocks are great and the Amazon nocks are actually really good. Deepower brand.

I realize this is earlier in the season but later in season do you ever experience late or less movement because the deer have everything layed out for them and dont have to look for food etc.

Sometimes a buck is just meant to be yours and nothing can stop it from happening. I herd the story about this buck and used to think these types of opportunities couldnt/didnt happen to people. How ever same type of thing happend to me this year. Only difference is i had a gun and i just burned some hair off his back at 30 yards (🦌fever). he come back through there the very next morning got the same 30 yard shot as the day before and it was true.. Still cant believe it.

As far as the window goes… that buck was definitely looking hard and was weary of that blind, but if you were able to open the window quietly, I’d of definitely of opened it right after the kickstand buck came through… but glad you got him and awesome video!

Can dnr fight you on the part of mowing down your own corn? Here in Minnesota I hear from people saying the dnr will ticket you, but than again there is a great area where it shouldn’t be illegal because you didn’t bring the corn from an outside source and just dump it on the ground.

Yea sometimes cameras complicate stuff. People end up passing 150s cuz they got a 180 on camera. Then end up eating tag soup. No one passing a 150 precamera days.
