cheers for the comment buddy.it was one of my earliar videos..yes there's lots of components inside. I use mine for gold recovery..and I keep my copper and aluminium for making ingots or just for the scrap yard and also you will have the shred aswell. ya get a few extra bucks for your work..I do it for the gold content and the copper,aluminium and shred is extra cash for fuel and acids forbthe gold recovery..I normally screw back the back plastic panel to the telly screen and bring it to the recycling centre here in ireland..scrap yards won't except televisions here..so I don't have any waste from the televisions..thanks for watching and commenting.i hope to make more videos very soon

thanks for watching..the metal in this video is from scrap computers....there was 160kg of metal from the desktop towers...the scrap metal value is a bonus to me..what do you do with your scrap metal from computers..I get my computers in whole and then I have to take them apart to get circuit boards..thanks for watching

It was a worthwhile trip as I approached the yard owner and asked about electronics, they dont except them but the next time somebody brings them to his yard.he is going to ring me..I'll have plenty of material for gold recovery.hope it works out

Thank you..I will take all the help I get..Are the SMD capacitors the very small and flat components. Are they about 2mm height and black and silver..I still have lots to learn. There is so many components. I really appreciate your help.

yes I was very happy with them plato cutters..I didn't know they were called that..I actually purchased them from eBay..the seller was doing a promotion. I think I payed €1.27 with €1 postage..I wasn't expecting much..I use them nearly as the exact way you described.they are really good for depopulating boards. you can snip really tight to the circuit board or the components..we call them snips here in ireland. my collection of snips is growing.i think I have 4 now and they all have there special jobs..thanks for watching it's greatly appreciated

@@Man-in-da-shed yes.ive been let down with many products over the years..I wasn't expecting much with this purchase but honestly I'm delighted with it..it does exactly what's it says it does on the tin..lol..I'm delighted it cuts really tight to the circuit boards and is very good for cherry picking individual components off the boards..thanks for watching

@@aidavewaste2576 All the ones I’ve had, have the PLATO brand name printed on the grip. Whether that’s just a company buying from someone else in China and rebranding, or they’re the manufacturer, I don’t know? I’ve seen a few other small electronic hand tools with that name before. Anyway, the last ones I bought were from a US seller on eBay and it was $39.95 for 5 pairs with free shipping, so $8 per pair. There were others on eBay shipping from China that would have been a little cheaper but I needed them ASAP and wanted to avoid a possible long ship time. Someone mentioned recently they were much cheaper on AliExpress and when I looked them up, I think it worked out to about $2.60 per pair in quantity when shipping cost to the USA was figured in.

hey man.thanks for watching and subscriber.please feel free to ask questions anytime..yes I made poormans AR with HCI AND KNO3...I use potassium nitrate(KNO3) AS I find it very hard to buy sodium nitrate in ireland..you can can use any of the nitrates to make poormans AR OR Poormans nitric..use can potassium or sodium. it's not recommended to use calcium nitrate as that's forms dry wall(gypsum) ya don't want to filter that..lol

Also you can make poormans nitric acid in situ aswell with either potassium/sodium nitrate. You mix sulphuric acid and the nitrate of your choice and water. This needs to be well hydrated. I mean more water is,a little more than u would normally use on different processes

What you mean by silvery rods...I had 4 what looked like Brass rods but I think its gold plated now.i still have to test it...all the contacts for the keys and foot peddle all tested yo be palladium contracts.. all transistors had gold legs and gold inside and some other stuff was hold plated..I think the silver rods you mention.i was hoping to have them in this model because I think theres supposed to be palladium running down the road but unfortunately not on mine but at least its hold plated

I'm going to approach my scrapyard to see if I can buy some ewaste off them...I was talking to a ewaste buyer of circuit boards today.i got prices from them.so hopefully the scrapyard will sell to me and I'll process the electronics like you and sell to my buyer...ewaste industry hasnt even really started in Ireland. So fingers crossed

Theres a lot of reading up on the chemicals and there reactions...slow and steady...I will have nice video coming up and also some gold melting videos of the gold I recovered..I was waiting on my melting dishes to come
