season 0 was an actual anime. the other one was half anime half advertisement for the card game

Overrated TBH. Even on legitimately awesome moments like Yami Yugi 'dealing' with that prison escapee or Team Yoog surviving Death T -- way too much sizzle, not enough steak. 75% of episodes could've been half as long and still have been coherent.

This was yugioh at its peak. Absolutely gold.
