The Water Sampling Exercise was done under the Zimbabwe Safe Water Project (ZSWP) being implemented by the Diocese of Mutare Community Care Programme (DOMCCP). This project seeks to combat Climate Change by providing Safe Clean Water in rural areas to prevent the cutting down of trees for water purification through boiling.
Periodically, Water samples are collected from the community boreholes & households for bacterial tests. DOMCCP interviews R. Munderedza an Environmental Health Technician with the Ministry of Health & Child Welfare after one of the water sampling exercises in Mutare Rural District.
