April 3, 2024 Irene Imanil here to say "On the number of prime number less than a given quantity" How many prime number are there? Bound it or put a limit between two non prime number. Who or what is less than a given quantity?
There is an official VEVO video, but you can't see it in Japan, so I watched it here. I already like it from the intro, and the music video is great with the atmosphere of the time.
I was a young boy about to fly on my own when this song and movie hit the arrives. What hope there was in the air, the future seemed boundless and all embracing.
Dude, please... Today's music does sucks balls hard. It's not just because it's what we have now, but from an artistic point of view, mainstream music today is shallow, soulless and without genuine talent. And if that's not enough, I can tell you that even most of the '90s music sucked too. Music (in general) is a gradual decline after the '80s era was over. That's not to say we're without new good music at all these days, but it's sadly few and hard to find.
Not really. The "liberal" society is going down. What's going ahead the technology only. Other things like culture or moral is going down. The tv and entertaining industry make consumer zombies, devalue the need of quality.
This song is amazing. it existed before the internet, they predicted that people talking and connecting online would become a reality. What's even more crazy, they predicted that relationships could exist online. Phil Oakley is a psychic god.
The majority today is godawful. Although some little gems that occasionally break through, such as Cee Lo Green, and a few others. But, the majority is pure dross.I for one did not complain about 70's music in the 80's, 80's in the 90's, 90's in the 00's, etc. I take good music whenever it comes from. I have heard many good tracks dating back to the early 1920's, if you listen past the crackling from the shellac!
You remember the good stuff like this, or Kraftwerk or whatever, and you go "Wow the 80s was so great compared to the shit we get nowadays". Except for every Duran Duran there was an Icicle Works, for every Blancmange a Shakatak, for every Spandau Ballet a Matt Bianco. The crap gets forgotten, the good stuff is remembered. You might think today is bad, but in 25 years nobody'll remember Carly Rae Jepsen or Jessie J, and future people will go "WOW 2012 WAS AWESOME THUMBS UP FOR BEING A 2012 KID"
Wow, the nostalgia just murders me.
Computers can love too, in electric dreams
3:40 wtf was that?

None of the above. Don't know a Phil Oakley. Philip Oakey sings this song. Note: Oakey is not spelt with an "L."
