As brilliant as Elden Ring is, I don’t think it lives up to the lore and story of Dark Souls.

This is game is a therapy game for me in the same way that journey is a therapy game. Nostalgia may apply, but I think on its own, this game and especially its music just have a way at putting you at ease and enjoying the present moment.

I loved seeing the Lord of the Rings when I was a child but my one regret is that I was too young to truly understand the beauty of these films and the original books. What I would give if I could see these movies for the first time again with the maturity I have now to truly appreciate them.

What I’ve noticed and probably many others who have looked at him closely, but the Lord of Cinder’s armor is actually just a severely deformed, melted, and tattered version of the elite knight armor. It has close to the same plating designs and very similar parts comparable to the elite knight set.
