Good to see Cornwall going strong ⚜️🔴⚪️🔵⚜️
All the best to Tag hope Goole do well
It was a great start for them. Great for the game to see a new professional side do well.
@rugbyleagueoutsiders Yes shame they can't put one where I live in Lincolnshire
As a Parramatta supporter, when Sivo first came into the NRL, he were like an animal, very hard to contain, would just run over the top of people. He then got a couple of bad injuries and he were never the same after that, it looked like he was either scared of getting injured or he didn't want to take the line on like he did before. He still scored tries don't get me wrong but he weren't the same. His defence also never improved in the whole time he played at Parramatta, he would rush in constantly and be found in no man's land a lot of the time.
I think maybe the only thing that brings Bradford down a bit is the stadium (Odsal). It's no secret it needs a bit of work.
Go goole go!
not looking good for sivo right now thats before seasons started
How did he play before he got injured?
Thats Sivo all over. He will catch fire at some point, I wouldn't read too much into him with so little to go on so far. Brad will know how to press the right buttons to get him going.
It’s too early to tell. We won’t know until a few games into the season
That's true but what a great start for the Rhinos today.
Who do you 2 support? just come across ur channel it's brilliant
Hey Daniel. Welcome onboard. One of us supports a SL team and one of us supports a championship side. Watch a few episodes of our news show and it will become obvious. 😂
Keep going guys your content is getting better and better. You'll get there
Thanks Deano. Appreciate the kind words.
Nobby willy take us back to SL where we belong!!!...With a fully fit Bruno leading us on the pitch as well this season I'm confident we can do it!!!...COYB!!!...🏉❤️🏉❤️
why has this been reuploaded?
Hey, We upload some sections of some of the shows for people who don't want to watch the full show. Main usually drops on Tuesday.
Best of luck to Goole Vikings in 2025.
Let's wait and see 😉 COYF 🐯🤞
Bulls in the next round, How are you feeling about that?
@rugbyleagueoutsiders You'd like to think that the super league team would be able to dispatch the championship team, but we also know it depends on what Cas think regarding how far they want to go in the challenge cup, and for the championship team it's always the chance of catching the super league team out.
London Broncos has more southern players than victorian players at the Melbourne Storm. I definitely hope Brisbane invests in them to become the team full of Londoners and southern talent just as Penrith have with their juniors.
Top bloke Mr Eccles. If anyone can mould a team and attract talent he can. Just a bit of investment and they should be mid table.
London may not have a history of 100 years, but it does of 45 years now. it has been mostly a bumpy ride since then.
Can't really disagree with that but they never go away. The potential is huge if they get it right.
Only people in hull care bout their matches against eachother...kr nearly men n no words describe how crap fc are!!!
I’d like to say we can make 7th this year but I think 8th is more likely. I would like to be proved wrong but some strong squads next year that have experience playing together
8th, I'll be happy
Should FC fans ever be happy with an 8th finish?
Best of luck to Cornwall in 2025.
irony or comedy classic "who said rugby league has no place in France" , when referencing attendance of a game played in Spain ? lol
By a French side. 🤔
It would be a great time to take the London Broncos. Whoever takes control would be able to start afresh with the club having no debt
That is true. The potential is huge too.
Imagine if in 10 years London as a club owned by Brisbane were doing so well financially and bringing in crowds by targeting the Aussie population in London that they put a bid in to join NRL? …. Maybe this is actually the start of an NRL takeover? … maybe other NRL clubs will do the same and buy other UK clubs - why not have a world NRL and UK have a NRL conference where the top 2 clubs or top 4 join the NRL for an expanded Play - Off competition? … could be something to aim for
Unfortunately the news reported was incorrect. Brisbane has distanced themselves from to rumours. However there is without doubt interest from Australia.
@ ah that’s gutting - I was excited by this- however, it’s great news anyway that a consortium from Australia are buying them hopefully and they really need to target the Aussie population in London who love rugby league and there’s a real appetite for sport and sporting events in London… we need to target the London population for the Challenge Cup final and get more neutrals we are not making enough wave in London - don’t get how the RFL and IMG can’t market the game right it’s sad
I’m a lifelong Wigan fan and resident. Firstly no team is unbeatable, but we have just entered a new era, and hopefully will dominate for a while, juts as Leeds and saints did, and Wigan did before . Wigan has always been up there and not been without success over the super league period. But saints will bounce back, as will Leeds, I love the fact that old traditional clubs that have underachieved for years now have had some resurgence, eg Leigh and hull kr. These teams will continue to be dangerous, Catalans also a tough side to play. Wigan have the benefit of having a young side of world class players. So did saints and Leeds, but they then retired or left, so they have to re group build again, this is what Wigan had to do over the last 10-20 yrs.
Great comment, It should be a very interesting season in 2025. Can Saints bounce back, Have Hull Kr strengthened enough to have a good crack at Wigan?
@ I think hull kr will strengthen yes, don’t think they’ve just had a fluke season. But they need to invest in good new players etc as do Leigh. Suppose it’s all about momentum, and keeping that going, saint will definitely bounce back, they just need a new coach, new approach , some new intense players.
Tremendously informative and entertaining show. The increased production values are adding to the enjoyment and result in a programme that wouldn't be out of place on broadcast television. Sky Sports / BBC, sign them up!
Wow, Thanks for the awesome comment and your continued support. 😎
Cut off from the M62? Down where they are, they're cut off from most of London. It's a hell of a difficult place to get to from where I live, especially on a Sunday and takes at least an hour and a half, maybe more. Every game an away game for most Londoners. When they were playing at Ealing, it was a lousy ground, but it was at least accessible from most of London. They should just be called "Wimbledon".
Wigan warriors do now co-own their stadium as of last season
Good to know. Thanks
Wtf lol
London Broncos are like the Gold Coast of the NRL. Multiple name changes, multiple jersey designs, home grounds, but they can never get it right.
Rugby league outsiders on my birthday. Couldn’t of asked for more 💪🏼
LFG, love this. Happy birthday !!!
@ cheers mate
Great pod. Do you have plans to go onto Spotify? Would be good to listen while I drive
Hey thanks for watching. We used to be on Spotify but with such a small team (Just the two of us) we decided to cut down on admin duties and just stick to TH-cam. Maybe in the future but for now we will remain here.
Thanks for all the awesome support and feedback guys.
Great episode guys. Following Williams weekly from last week, Do you think the Challenge Cup should have a format like the women's competition with groups, quarter finals, semi final and then a final? Keep it to the teams in the Super League & championship. You could then keep the 1895 cup but change the teams who enter it to League 1 and amateur clubs maybe include university clubs and super league reserve teams if needed.
This is such a great comment and one we have just been discussing. We had never thought about having amateur sides in the 1895 cup. The problem with that is that amateur players want to feel special by taking part in the prestigious Challenge Cup.
Got Ian Smith book to read. Sounds really good. Also Got “tough season” book. Chris Berry KR fan. If you want to read a really good book try Stanley Gene. How he lived in jungle of PNG. Got picked up by Police to play RL on a field at the airport. How he got to Hull and coped with culture shock.
Thanks, The Stanley Gene book sounds great. I will have a look out for that. 👍 #RugbyleagueBookClub
Television rights are by far the biggest revenue stream for the NRL and subsequently all Clubs. Gambling revenue only a small percentage in comparison. Not a lot of Sniper’s points re the NRL possible involvement made sense.
There's only so much we can cover in a short episode. Of course that's true for the NRL. Sadly in England, the television rights deals are sooooo low that a potential issue for Salford would almost certainly mean tv deals being renegotiated to even smaller amounts for all the other clubs, so there would be a domino effect. Non fulfilment of the deal's t&c's because we've now lost 6 Salford games that were planned to be televised...bla bla.
I guarantee you. If the rumor is true about brisbane buying a stake in London, you will gain fans from Australia and the Pacific.
It could be huge and a catalyst for future investment in other clubs.
Fingers crossed this deal is done quickly and in the right way.
@@thesnipersclubnrlI understand your concern with NRL. I think it'll be better if the NRL sends Affiliated states teams to take part in the challenge cup like Victoria and WA. In that way they'd get exposure in AFL Territory. As for super league I'd like the university RL to have a comp that feeds into the SL, Championship and L1 like the yanks and their collegate system.
Won’t do anything. Any big league fans in Australia will already watch super league and they won’t bother to watch championship even if London are there and owned by Brisbane. Maybe a few extra shirt sales the first year but the hype will drop quickly after. London need to focus on winning fans within London and the surrounding counties. Will be difficult as you’re in rugby union heartland there, and harlequins are doing absolutely brilliantly in the fan engagement around south London

Looking forward to a good day of rugby league on Saturday in Amsterdam, hopefully a good crowd
JEALOUS!!!! Wish we were there.
Will the game be on TH-cam? If so, which channel?
Wire played Catalan in Barcelona, not at the nou camp, i think it was at the Olympic stadium. It was before Wigan played at the nou camp. Im sure there was twenty odd thousand. Have a look into it lads
Cheers Kevin, Wasn't aware of that one.
There all reserve grade players in Australia out of 10 they are a 3 ok for backup players
As a Cas fan I worry when we sign players who little or no NRL experience.
That's a good point, I've never thought of it from the amateur point of view
Hull F.C. have recruited a lot of players, I think they will be better but maybe not good enough to make playoffs.
Game getting too soft
I like it. Gives Amature sides the chance to get action against the big men. And League 1 and champ teams have a chance to get in some extra money from attracting SL teams to their grounds. WIN/WIN
Great to hear your opinion.
❤❤❤❤❤😊
Leeds are the worst team ever
I honestly think that the ticket prices have caused fans to stop going. You can see the crowds being lower than pre 2020
Super League tickets are still reasonably cheap compared to other sports though. I think the cost of living crisis in this country really doesn't help though.
I only know Ben Curry from Sale😂
Hull FC needed this change
They absolutely did. Not sure if they have invested enough though to make a push for the playoffs. What do you think?
@rugbyleagueoutsiders As a hull kr fan I refuse to believe we'll be playing them in the play offs😂
Finally a rugby podcast I can listen to
Thanks, Welcome on board.
One thing for sure is that there will be a few cricket scores in these games.
That's for certain however it is exciting for amateur teams to be able to play against the big boys
