Growing up in Merriwa in the 1950's there were people still alive that remembered Fred Ward. He was very active in the area and Merriwa was a stopping place for travellers to rest and restock before heading west so he would have most certainly ventured there for supplies. He actually held up a mail coach at Gungal which is between Denman and Merriwa.

Hi mate, I came here as I am currently getting a new TFT screen fitted under warranty. Mine too was changing rider modes itself. At the same time the dealer is attending to a service campaign recall for the wheelie control not functioning correctly. Bike has been in the dealer for a week as they are having trouble trying to update the wheelie control software. Hopefully it gets sorted next week.

I've never been sea sick, thankfully, but I had a small sailboat and used to do some sailing when I was a younger man and, when I'd get back on land, I would get land sick after just a few hours of sailing, and was pretty nauseated if I was sailing all day and got back on solid ground. Kangaroo Island is a pretty cool place, so thanks for showing it to us. :)

Good stuff! We’ve been wanting to Kangaroo Island for a while. I have a sound system on my bike, yet never play it loud in a town or carpark. Oh, and you call those bikes barges… yet the Africa Twin is large and heavy. 😉✌️

As someone who bought an Experia a month ago, I reckon this is a good and detailed review. It mentions all the points that got me to buy one. Although you could have shown it DC rapid charging. What kind of bird did you hear in the trees?

The real reason they limit this bike to an top speed of 180 kmh is to preserve the charging distance of the battery. That is my understanding, compared to the other Engergica bikes, that can go an lot faster but are not designed for longer distance touring.

Man I like just about everything about the 2024 Africa twin except these stupid ass screens they have on all these new bikes It's ridiculous I just want an LCD screen.

Ok, I realised that I forgot to say that this bike has a 0-100 kph time of 3.5 seconds, it's literally 0.1 of a second faster at it than the Africa Twin.

After my first ride my main impression was how small it felt! Super fast and very well built.

Did you mentioned how much? And 0-100 times?
