@@HunteronaBudget as of right now I don’t know of anyway, but maybe in the future will be able to you can try contacting them, but I doubt it he would probably have to send it into them

you have to hope that the CPU did not take a hit I usually takeoff four chips three chips that are bounded transplant to another motherboard the slim models normally have flex damage inside the board. They had to be transplanted more than others models

you can always try rubbing alcohol To find the short if you don’t have thermal camera

It’s crazy how common it is on the PS5’s the capacitor is failing and all random spots sourcing part out from different vendors and one quality control

@@QsTechService1 My current project is restoring my first TV. A 12" B&W Sears tube TV built in 1972. I've replaced all the electrolytic capacitors; all tested out of tolerance. Now testing each carbon composite resistor. So far 23 out of 25 are really out of tolerance (each one has been replaced). Example, a 100 ohm reading 322 ohms 😳 I have 75 more to test.

yeah, they’re pretty impressive failed a few years ago I think I have video on fixing it, but I had to fix it .. This brand-name so far is pretty decent It works good Can’t wait till you building a new E bike battery 🪫 My battery I built every cell was soldered with a big electric gauge wire I think I have video on that too also but yeah, pretty awesome little device powerful can’t go wrong with the charging bank too lol 😂

@@GregM no Greg unfortunately they’re not. I don’t believe you had to replace the whole probes or disassemble the probes the other model they sent me has replaceable tips. That’s why I appointed it out in this model that you can’t replace the tips. Kind of a bummer just keeping honest review but Gray I would probably refer this one to It’s got some serious power I didn’t even up it I was at setting 3 and you can go to 8 lol

its xt90 bullet connectors minus the yellowq case just search for those then the wire 10 guage i think it is might be 8 guage then you can make some tips sorta like nails that you use to nail a 2x4 to a house frame you can solder some of those and grind down the tips alittle or leave em which ever works so yes.. but id keep the same lenth because of electrical amp losses this thing dumps about 250 amps or more at once.. really a capacitor style is far better than a lipo style capacitors charge up you can build one and they discharge instantly which is what you want the reason this is so slow and welds crappy is its not a capacitor type so your limited by how fast the lipos in side and thers 2 of them 5000 mah each that limist the amps apppplied to the probes so get a table top 110volt model they are far better far stronger or build a capacitor style.. just a regular old capacitor like for car audio with a arduino and a fast mosfet to dump all the current pleanty of youtuybe vids on it

Yes, I know that but the drive in this video was completely dead could not be read by any device therefore cannot get the partition off

@@QsTechService1 Do you need just the partition structure and it can rebuild itself? Or do you need the data as well? Mates Xbox is bricked and it's bad enough he's been unable to clone it.

@@Hunty49 yes if you do not have the partition to clone the drive does not work, the Xbox becomes a paper weight

@@QsTechService1 And if I don't replace it I mustn't shunt it ? Because when I try without the cap I've no more the shortcut but shield didn't boot. I don't have the exact same motherboard version because I have 8 cap at this place instead of 4 on yours.

@@TheElkAiN must be a different issue with it but those capacitors sometimes they don’t even have them on some boards So that’s why I say they’re really not that critical like there’s not even four of them sometimes
