Hard Money Lending & Faith Based Investing | Wendy Sweet
I have been so excited to have this conversation with Wendy Sweet ever since we put it on schedule, and I’m even more excited to share this video with others. Wendy is a hard money lender with Carolina Capital Management, and her insights and experience as a lender is invaluable to anyone in the Real Estate Investing business. More importantly, Wendy is a Believer and a devout Christian who centers her life and business around her faith. In this conversation, I wanted to ask Wendy about her Hard Money Lending business, her faith, and how she integrates these two parts of her life.
Wendy’s Hard Money Lending business is based out of Charlotte, NC, and her company lends in NC, SC, GA, VA, TN, FL and now TX. Woah! $125 to build??? That's crazy cheap in my opinion. I've got some builders here in NC that averages out at $180. Do i need to find different builders? 😅
Yes that is a great price to build. Lisa builds at-cost and so do we for a similar price. Does the $180 include the GC fee? Thats typically where the extra comes from
@@therehabbersplaybook6586 yes, that includes the GC fee. I'm working on getting my GC to hopefully build my own crew within the next 5 years.

No actually we high ball price you because we have too much work, or we’ve worked with your previously and find you to be an asshole. Avoid both and you’ll be ok.
Yes those are also reasons that you get a high ball price. But I’m guessing you’re a contractor.. me too. Would you not give a client a higher price when you know that they negotiate every bid you give?
