Built by Antonov Design Bureau, well done Ukraine
Out of Interest I know where you are filming that from -but what is the ole building used for these days -many thanks in advance I used to go there as a child when it was a play ground -and every year in my teens and later - I remember it was a cafe ..along time ago ....but what now I have googled it ,,,can not work out why they put a gate round it ?
I'll never forget that day. I was up and getting ready for school when my dad phoned... 'hello?' I answered. The reply was 'its the 6 engined Antonov!' 'put yer mum on the phone'.... Fast forward 15 minutes and I'm there watching. Great video, exactly as I remember. Pretty sure she came to Prestwick twice that week.
Amazing
So, Boeing does know how to build an A-380? It's a GIANT Super Guppy.
Wind? What wind..
Zero fucks where given about that 60mph wind.
truly one of the most awe inspiring planes ever
I live under the main approach for Prestwick airport and I'm yet to see this beast.
How this thing get off the ground, Its like a large city..
I've seen this whale 3 times, and it has to be the ugliest plane I've ever seen.
Looks better in its Ukrainian Livery
It's amazing to look at the Dreamlifter and then to see it fly. You'd never of thought something that looked like that could actually fly!

yeah it is.
throw one off an aircraft carrier!!
That looks huge :D
it is Ukrainian, but was developed under the U.S.S.R. to transport space shuttles. So it was Russian, but is now Ukrainian.
nature shows us who is boss
You are right, Colin. I surely was mistaken, and I apologized for the ignorance as indicated above. Thank you too for your comment.
Maria, Thank you for correcting me on the Antonov 225. I really erred here. Did not know that this was Ukranian. Still, as I said, credit is due for a remarkable aircraft. I will be a little more careful in the future. (I am always amazed, seeing these huge planes lift off, that it can even get airborne). Best regards, and thanks again!
The Antonov's are Ukranian but currently in use by the Russian army as a transport plane
how that big bastard gets airborne is truly amazing, jesus!!
One of the its test pilot told (in a documentary video) that the wings need to lift itself first before it even could lift the plane
Nope, Antonov is born Russian but reside in Kiev when he form his company until his death
Only a matter of time. America isn't the only country with an overdeveloped ego.
