Back working on the Ford Bronco "custom" 😂 project on my janky driveway with my awesome assistant Diesel. We get some much needed prep work done on the block and discover the engine has been swimming. Or at least been in a rain storm. Not good, but we'll git er dun. 👍

DISCOVERED!!! - One owner '69 CAMARO!!!
มุมมอง 92K7 ปีที่แล้ว
I totally randomly met the interesting owner of a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, Frank. He has so many cool stories of the way the car scene used to be. Additionally, he is the original owner of this car and bought it just down the street from the video location in 1970! Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, he is selling it. I wish I had the cash for it. These are becoming har...
More FORD issues - heads may have RUINED my engine!!

Hey everyone! I finally brought the cylinder heads from my 1991 Ford Bronco 5.0 to the shop to get refinished. Well....I learned some disturbing news after the professional took a look at the heads that may mean more work to the engine of the Bronco before it can go back together. Helloooooo!!!!!! Anybody that knows anything about racecars KNOWS that the term " FUNNY CAR" came from altering the wheel base by moving the differential ahead thus transferring the weight more over the rear wheels giving the car more traction. No offence to old Frank , I m sure he ment well

    Ok, when you said "AC did not work" was that AC did not turn on at all? did it turned on but you had hot air coming out the vent? can you elaborate a little as to what was it doing or not doing? Thanks!

      Everything worked except the cold air. Essentially power was not getting to the compressor. Once the compressor was energized the system delivered cold air.

      In today's market it's probably worth the 10K but like you say 7 or 8 would probably buy it! I have owned 1 67 RS Camaro & 7 69 Camaros during my life. I would buy one & improve it a bit & when another one came along that I liked better I would buy that one & sell the old one. Back in 1998 I bought a really clean Green 69 with auto & console for 6 grand. It was a really clean driver quality car that you could get into & go anywhere you wanted to go! One of the cooler ones was a Black 69 with 350, auto with mint original interior, 17 year old black paint that was still extremely nice with front & rear spoiler & rallye wheels for 17.5K in 2005. I sold it to buy a Lemans Blue 69 RS/Z28 a few years later. My last 69 Camaro was a RS/SS Green convertible with manual trans that was extremely nice. Anyhow I am car crazy over 69 Camaros!

    Life saver! Because of the bad relay my the fried - not compressing, gauges equal pressure. Thought the problem was the TVX valve because it was stuck open of black residue inside plastic housing of the pin. After filling with refrigerant low-side was at max 250 LB and high-side at 150. Switched out relays and everything worked.

    It astounds me how people who ought these new end up letting their cars deteriorate to the point where you see them like this POS. You hear all the grandiose plans they had for it, yet here they sit with crap stacked on it and coated with dirt and mouse piss. I bought a 65 Mustang from the original owner. It was a daily driver for over 50 years. Running and faded, but clean.Theres no reason to let your car go to shit like this. Jesus.....

    Just tried it on our 2003 Corolla S and unfortunately it did not work. Also, we did the switch a few times and knew we did it right, but when we made the switch, the horn worked but the air didn't and the engine was making a funny sound. Thanks anyway, man, it was worth a try.

      m4paws888 Bummer. Bummer it didn’t work out for you. 👎🏼👎🏼 This hack will only work if the relay is the problem. Of course it is possible your ac doesnt work due to some other issue. Sorry man.

      @m4paws888 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jankydriveway4694 Thanks, Janky. We have a friend who's working on it. He did replace the freon which didn't work and he said it could be 3 things. He had to go back to work so he hasn't worked on it since we tried your hack. What I found interesting is the AC relay when in where it's supposed to be didn't make any noise in the engine, but the horn relay in the AC relay plug did make a noise. I'm going to tell our mechanic friend and see if it's a clue for him. We had a '99 that made it to 399k miles. Our 2003 has about 150k. Keep enjoying your Corolla and thanks for helping so many people figure this out.
