RIP Kevin Ayers (1944-2013).
Marvellous
just love that guy !
Dude playing the clarinet looks like he is an extra from Star Trek the next generation.
hace ya 17 años... un documento decisivo para mi vida. el mejor disco de Daniel.
que hermosoo, que viva Melero 110 años más!

Help me, they played both on 8/8/70 and 19/12/70 in Paradiso, Amsterdam. Which date is this concert?
Me encantan estas cosas
R.I.P.Kevin. Watching this somehow makes it just a little better :)
MIKE OLDFIELD..
i was there...paradiso Amsterdam.

Ricky Bobby - That's a soprano sax
Forgive my ignorance, but what is the brass instrument used here?
+Ricky Bobby- But avoid Kenny G. spitballarmy.com/?p=269
+Ricky Bobby- Also check out Wayne Shorter and Paul Winter -other fine soprano sax players (Jazz)
i have seen them in Paradiso amsterdam 1973,. memories, memories, memories
Who's the Aleister Crowley of the group?
+Sunchild333 Lol Coxhill
+Sunchild333 Whoever he is he's obviously a Timelord.
+nobbynoris no longer with us, unfortunately....
Coxhill's solo on Red Green and You Blue from the same album as May I is one of the pleasures of civilization.
Incredible voice..(nice one Mike oldfield for being part of this song..)
thank you
pleased for him. Nice and quite sweet end.
It was good of Lol Coxhill to jump out of the tub and add his soprano sax. Too bad Syd Barrett & Kevin Ayers never put a band together; they might have made some great music together.
Genius!
"Ayers died in his sleep" ... what a nice ending, Kevin .. R.I.P.
un dels meus ídols als setze anys. feliç eternitat, kevin.
Best song, since they came up with love!
Nunca te olvidaremos, Kevin. Gracias por tu música.
that´s a soprano saxophon. it´s part of the saxophon family as it is a conical metal woodwind horn, but it is fairly close to the clarinet in matters of size and key, both are in Bb. coltrane played the soprano as well as other saxes, check out "favorite things" in his version.
RIP Kevin. You are a musical god, so you'll live on forever. I bought all of your albums and only wished I had the opportunity to see you perform live.
Is that a clarinet being played around 1:45 and if so what kind?
Sleep well comrade.
Descansa en paz Kevin.
Seductive, stylish, wonderful. A maverick and he left us a little too early......
RIP Kevin.
RIP Kev, I would say "see you later" but you'd just answer; "how will you see me later if you can't see me now." So glad I finally got to see you live about 6 years ago. Thank you for the wonderful music.
I think Kevin captured that moment without time when he says 'Smile a while' to someone standing in a café.... We always want to inhabitate in such Smile a while state of mind...... An emotioned and warm goodbye from Barcelona...
may i........say goodbye....R.I.P.
So long..
damn, he's dead.
Beautiful.
and one of the frustrating and endearing aspects of Ayers' career is that every time he seemed on the point of success, he would take off for some sunny spot where good wine and food were easily found . RIP
Yeah, he was one of a kind, at the end of the day, he just wanted tranquility
RIP ... I will allway enjoy your voice and the the "tone" you set!!!
R.I.P Kevin, such an original musician.
