Randomly, tonight, June the 6th 2024, this track emerged from my brain, I couldn’t remember the band or track name, I dredged my mind all day for crumbs of lyrics and I finally found it again. So glad I did 🙂

Something bout this song never leaves my mind

I've long lost count of how many 'Raptures' have fallen to pieces, shattered into countless shards, over the course of my lifetime. Just two days ago, April 08th 2024, was another one again. Yet still they give only weak excuses, or dodge & evade the issue... And their detrimental dogma and ideologies, with all its plethora of emotional-manipulation techniques, guilt-tripping, shaming, fearmongering, threats & extortions, carrots & sticks, etc... just continues to persist as ever.

The sad thing is this band was better than most other "rock" bands that came out in the 2000s. I wish they would get back together.

I remember this song from I'm guessing 17 years ago and had to find it to hear again. Let's see if it's what I remember.

2024, I still come back to this absolute gem of a song. I remember picking up this album the day it came out. This song has and always will have a special place in my heart. A band that should of had so much more.

Goddamn, man. I would hear this song on the radio on gloomy nights in 2006, and it always struck me as profound. However, I knew nothing about Hurt. (Like the fact that J.Loren's a virtuoso violinist who writes all their songs) What really gets me are the violin lines during the chorus. And the video's absolutely terrifying.

Thankful my dad put me on music like this never understood the meaning of this song til I got older and he explained it to me, about the woman taking her child’s life. Very thought provoking song.
