I do not have a dishwasher. My daughter has had my Oreck, it's over 20 years old. I had Oreck spray before to clean the main cell and also told it can go in the sink with warm water and needs to dry of course. Is this acceptable if you don't have a dishwasher?

10:23 when you put the 1st filter back it should go back the same shape as the curvature of the front vent, you put it back the opposite way with the curvature of the filter facing in not out. The camera person needs to back up overall. Other than that it was a good demonstration. Thank you!

I cleaned my Oreck exactly how this video said, got it all back together just fine. But after resetting the revitalizer only worked for about 8hrs and now wont come on. The fan works fine. Any suggestions?

This site is impossible to connect to. When I type in the website it will not allow it to be looked at as there is a page over the top of it asking for log in name and password which no one has as it won’t allow anyone to join. Also the phone numbers do not work either. It shows you are in Cambodia. Maybe it would be better if you contact me as I can’t put a personal phone number on TH-cam or give me an email address. Nobody has said anything about the pop-out tray on the right side of the oreck xl; so what is that for? And my red light keeps coming back after a reset but I guess something isn't dry enough yet. It was working at the thrift store a few hours ago so we'll see in a day. Got it for five bucks and it looks barely used. No brush though.

Can you disconnect / off the laptop once you start a programm running with 1 or 2 generators?

Question. A friend gave me one of these. I just cleaned and the collector cell won’t reset. I noticed one of the thin wires is missing. Is this causing it to not reset? And will it effect the clean? Thx

Place on top rack with the dishwasher sanitizer mode ON or OFF? On makes it steam hot.

Great video, my Oreck is placed near the kitchen, routinely cleaned as per manual and lately I have noticed a lot of dust on my floor and counters after 3 days of vacuuming. I have turned it off now. Would anyone know why this is happening?

Your tutorials are at a wonderful pace and so clear.....I would love to see how you would do a Biofeedback scan with tens pads......others I've seen are confusing to me. Is there any chance you might do more you tubes on Spooky2?

We nick named ours " Sparky" .. just have to keep it clean. It got me through hazardous smoke conditions due to wildfires south west of us. On a side note. I take the face plate off and clean that too. It slides of easy from right to left. Plus for a quick clean up I disassemble outside, and use my battery powered leaf blower. Thanks for the video Peace.

Wow, what kind of remote is that? Looks very different than the Spooky2 remote that is current.

Sadly, the supposedly smart people at Oreck decided to discontinue this item. That isn’t the main issue here though… the BIG issue is that they decided to pull the proverbial supply rug out from all the customers that are still using and enjoying these devices. You can no longer procure the “wear parts” (consumables) that will periodically need replacing in these units. Need a rubber fan grommet? Can’t get it. And it is proprietary! I would advise against purchasing any of their replacement purifiers… they’re all HEPA filtered And considering how they treat their handle support for existing customer base, they’re hardly worth the high price tag.
