Apparently the landscaper had reduced the height on this guy with a chainsaw on a stick. Of course, it’s grown back twice as fast and twice as wild; half as beautiful. This is phase one of restoration.

This is one of the better maples I’ve pruned this year. Trees like this are relatively easy to prune; no big cuts, well-established structure and plenty of good options. I’m looking forward to pruning this guy again in July 2025
