Having studied theology and Mormon doctrine for more than 60 years, I scarcely know where to begin with this crazy silly video! I could spend all day trying to write to refute this stupidity, do I will just mention one thing as an example. In the Bible, it states in many places about Gods face, His back parts, etc. It also states that we were created in His IMAGE!!! The problem is that these other abominable religions have taught such stupid false doctrines and have tried to spiritualize the plain simple direct teachings of the Bible, that now when one hears the real truth about what the Bible clearly teaches then they are shocked!! They are so used to hearing that joint heirs with Christ doesn't really mean joint heirs, that begotten doesn't really mean begotten, that image doesn't really mean image, etc., etc., etc. So, when they are exposed to the REAL truth and what the Bible really teaches, then they are shocked!!!

Im in the process of leaving the mormon religion right now...

Out of nowhere, random people ranging from even devout catholics, to Muslims, atheists, etc, were sticking up for Mitt Romney. They saw how unfairly demonized he was and that he deserved at least to be heard out in America. Put stupid religion and politics aside just for 1 damn millisecond. Look at just the person. You'll see just how truly, honestly awesome ANYone is indeed. I became a very bitter and sometimes hostile, quite mean ex Roman catholic. But I eventually let things go and noticed I still admired and loved some historical Roman catholic heroes. Ones like a real life Captain America, Simón Bolívar, who tried to form a united States of Latin America, and Oscar Schindler, a nazi party member and business man, just saw and felt the evil inhumanity of the attempted extermination of Jewish people. So he started hiring more Jews just to save their lives. Give EVERYONE a chance people just like you'd want a chance, and see what wonders we can pull off.

My sides have been splitting for like an hour at this idea of 'vicarious posthumous baptisms' which can be performed on any Mormon on behalf of any dead person... as long as they are of the same gender, of course. Otherwise it would just be weird... I can't be bothered to keep looking for solid answers on the circumstances under which they somehow ended up baptizing both Hitler AND Anne Frank, but apparently the reason Mormons do it is so that the subject of the baptism can get into heaven, so to me, that is an encouraging sign of polarization within the Mormon community that may result in a schism, and end up with 2 groups challenging each other's beliefs until they realize they are all stupid... Then again, that hasn't happened between the Catholics and protestants, or the Sunnis and the Shiites, so I don't know why I would be so hopeful...

Whiteness in the Book of Mormon is not contrasting blacks with people from Sweden. It means if you live a good life you will be lighter or whiter. Anciently this meant more civilized because you were not running around naked getting a dark tan. Mormons believe Heavenly Father has a body and is the father of Jesus but that does not necessarily mean sex. I am sure God has other ways of doing this. You really are ignorant Bill.

The Book of Mormon, translated into the English language by Joseph Smith, Jr., is a wonderful book. I've never met anyone who has read the Book of Mormon and has applied to it a coherent, negative critique. Haters of the Book of Mormon are universally unfamiliar with it, which I find unusual given that it is simply a book. Anyone can read it.

Maher is a very misinformed man. He goes to anti Mormon to receive information on that religion. Of course their going to talk negative about the lds church. Bill creates contention and controversial rumors. He thinks he knows everything about religion but he is so far from the truth that he can’t see the miracles of God in his everyday life. He is a very ignorant atheist who enjoys the negative reactions of religious people and attempting to debunk religion. I think he is very jealous and envy of how prosperous and successful churches and religions are. He is an angry man and very prideful individual. So when he tries to rip apart someone’s religious beliefs it makes him look ignorant, closed minded, insecure, intolerant, and pathetic. If he was a real liberal he would be more accepting and tolerant to religious people but instead he rather be a hypocrite and belittle them and call them idiots. Revelation happens... I had an intense revelation in a dream, shared details with my wife, then it unfolded the next day.
