Just watched this again after rewatching Eyes Wide Shut last night. For some reason, I am able to re-watch this movie multiple times and prefer not to re-watch other Kubrick movies - like "A Clockwork Orange," which I saw when it was released back in the 1970s! It was considered a very important movie at the time, and I was impacted by it. I also would have a hard time re-watching "The Shining," which probably is the scariest movie I've ever seen. I am a big Jack Nicholson fan. QUESTION: If Cate Blanchett's voice was dubbed in for the mysterious woman character in the "I will redeem him" speech, was her voice also used in the conversations between the mysterious woman and Cruise at the orgy?

Interestingly enough, in my town, Hemel Hempstead, there is a very nice house near the town centre in which it's said that Tom and Nicole stayed while they were in the UK filming the movie. Great interview. Julienne Davis seems to be pretty smart and charming, and she was very memorable in Eyes Wide Shut. Saying NO to Stanley Kubrick while working on one of his films is an interesting choice. Kubrick had already let Harvey Keitel go for balking at his direction, replacing him with Sydney Pollack. As a beautiful young woman, she of course was guarded about unwanted attention and uncomfortable situations, and her assault earlier no doubt played a part. But it's unfortunate that it meant another actress got to play a bit of her role.

Who's to say people who become super models "sell themselves out"?
