It's been nearly 9 years since i last made a driving video in my mini, I hope you enjoy it!

First track day in my 1968 Morris mini. It has a 1340cc highly modified Cooper S engine that makes over 130hp and revs to 8000rpm. Had an absolute ball, first time driving a car on the track after doing quite a few track days on the bike.

Getting a little excited on the first lap of the last session. SMSP track day 14/8/19

1st run of the night. Too much wheelspin and missed 3rd gear. Managed a 15.4 second 1/4 mile. Best run of the night was 14.9 @ 90mph

Took the mini out for another run at the drags tonight. Managed to get into the 14's. Great fun!

Sorry for the really short vid, gopro battery was near dead when i started recording :-( Just a quick bootfull heading onto the freeway on-ramp. If you look closely you can make out the redline needle on the tacho, which is set to 6000rpm...and the tacho needle whizzing past it ;-)
