It's interesting how the calendar, one of the most distinctive aspects of the Persona series (and even being used in Metaphor: ReFantazio), was originally created with Persona 3's specific themes in mind. I agree that P3's calendar system feels the most thematically relevant out of all of them, to the point where I wonder how Persona 4 could've been if they introduced a gameplay mechanic specific to that game's themes.

Just found this video today and this has to be one of the best videos I've seen on this platform. I'm writing this right as Chapter VIII ends and it'll likely be my favorite part of the video, such an interesting analysis on Nyx that I had no idea about! (Insanely well edited too) This is coming from someone who experienced the game through Reload. I'm very happy this video exists because death terrified me for a long time but thanks to P3 (as well as other factors of my life, but P3 is one of the bigger if not biggest contributor), death has become a lot easier to accept and even fascinates me a bit. This video is an amazingly presented analysis/perspective that helps shape and materialize my thoughts on P3 and death itself. I'm sure the same goes for many other people that have watched this video as well. Amazing stuff man.

I found myself crying and mourning someone I, in fact, did not know that well, and yet, though our interactions were short and rushed by the passing of time, I learned so much. And I am so glad I did stay, and listened until the end. Not out of pity like you said, or obligation in regard of “doing a good deed” but because I genuinely wanted him to be seen for who he was, and in the hope he would find solace within himself.

One of my d&d players suddenly dropped off the map completely, no social media, nothing. We all had to conclude the worst, and the game was never the same again. I never actually met him, since it was an online game, but the bond we shared forging a heroic story with themes of freedom, willpower and the value of life, will stay with me for ever. I even played "memories of school" in his honor during one of the streams. This video was great, top to bottom. Thank you.

I'm overdue. But this is the greatest Persona video of all time, I'd put that on my entire bloodline. Persona 3 FES changed my life at a time where that change was beyond needed- and for the better. The greatest story I'll ever experience and will always be my favorite game of all time. And this video reawakened what that "journey" gave me again. Thank you. It's finally about time that I got around to finishing Persona 3 Reload fully and properly, this time.

I keep unliking and reliking this video every couple months so it never leaves the top of my liked videos playlist. That said this is probably my favorite TH-cam video ever.
