After having done Ending E in NieR Replicant Ver. 1.2247…, I began to think about The Recycled Vessel again and how it seemed to supersede anything in power in-universe despite its existence as just the Protagonist’s Mother’s Diary. I wondered why we had to play as Papa NieR (or Brother NieR in the 360/PS3 NTSC/PAL releases) within it and it made me wonder if the reason why is because it linked together both games by being a record of a Timeline where Papa NieR was erased and the fact it even exists makes it outside of the realm of the Memory Server’s ability to manipulate. It then begs the question of HOW, so I really like some of the speculations made here! Here’s another one for free: Tyrann’s original Human form was possibly created from Caim’s and Angelus’s genetic material in order to make a ridiculously powerful human immune from the influence of White Chlorination Syndrome

Couldnt Automata be from Drakengard 3 Ending E’s timeline? I mean the church would probably be made but without brother one it wouldn’t have nearly the same impact Also Accord talks about the future of the branch and then the next game is automata… idk, the only problem would be mikhail but in his diary he does say he saw robots so he might just be hidden or something

Since the Re[in]carnation guidebook has now come out I just want to make some addendums to the video here. It's confirmed that Eleanor is first discovered by the androids in 5980. The time between Eleanor being awoken by the androids and turning into a dragon monster was around 90 years. Though the white monsters her clones fight perfectly match the description of Legion, this date means they are likely something else as Legion were supposed to have been wiped out long before 5980. The book doesn't acknowledge the white monsters at all, so whatever they are is unknown for now. Aside from that there wasn't anything in the book that contradicted my speculations here. It's also explained in the book that the clone project is called "Project One Wing", and it's clarified that Eleanor has cells from Angelus inside her body.

I adore F66x. Thank you so much for this lore. Even if it's not 100% to the letter of what the creators of Drakengard and Nier were going for, this is a beautiful explanation of who F66x truly is. And why I am drawn to her so much. ❤ Also, I never got to finish Reincarnation... 😭 they discontinued the game before I could.

In Drakengard 3, ending E, Zero becomes a huge gray figure along with her sisters, as you control her dragon to put an end to their lives. This could be the final stage of transformation as a result of the flower's infection, and is indeed very similar to the aspect of the queen beast.

The anime confirmed that the androids built the city ruins, couldn't the church also be part of the Human Heritage thing?

hi! unrelated to the video but i wanted to ask, is terra battle connected to the drakenier universe? i saw an old reddit post about it and the designs of the characters are very similar to certain drakengard characters. i know you're working on archiving sinoalice which in itself seems like a pain, but i just wanted to ask since it did seem like a cool game

I wouldn't be surprised if this whole flower project took place in the kingdom of the night I mean it's the kingdom of the night No sun no plants So it's probably what happened in the dark side of the planet 🤷‍♀️ As for the magic school story Maybe it's where the maso ended up after the replicants and androids fought the legion They stated that maso was sent to where it came from but how r they so sure?

He was fin with a 2 killing him). The machine war is designed to never end, the red eye disease adapts to anything with free will (soul), as long as maso is around (it’s only ever been reduced). Shinjuku is the beginning and end of the cycle of eternal misery.

Hook is my favorite monster design of this particular game. It's so repulsive and that thing it uses as its tail is one of it's legs. That's so disturbing, I never would have thought to draw something like that.

Thank you so much for uploading this series. I LOVE seeing all the puppetry and theater that goes into a beautifully presented game. EDIT: Come to thnk of it, Yoko Taro has background in and actively creates for the theater. I'll bet he sees games as another form of theater. That would explain why his works feel so different and unique from others of the genre.

So Accord is trying to stop the timelines from sort of collapsing yes? So im wondering when do we see the end? Like when is all of this going to cultivate into overarching story?
