I think we're getting to the point where saying that there wasn't a Dark Ages between the fall of the Roman Empire and the establishment of organised kingdoms in Western Europe is more harmful to the common of understanding than the previous pop culture conception of the Dark Ages. Also I'm not going to actually listen to whatever you have to say in this video because you're an agp male pretending to be a woman - you people have already taken over universities and I won't indulge you any further.

I think my favorite thing about Clio's lecture is how she becomes more confident in streaming and how it improves over time alongside making it more engaging overall.

Reminds me of the cliche that the ancients all thought the world was flat came from snobby Victorians who thought they were so much smarter than everyone who came before them. The Dark Ages were not very dark at all. Unless you consider the classical world dying a tortured death to make way for the Medieval and eventual early modern is a dark thought.

CS gas is absolutely vile stuff its only borderline "non-lethal", it regularly causes permanent and severe lung and heart damage , chemical burns,etc. Even minor side effects like skin burns , minor and severe respiratory, gastrointestinal, and oral symptoms may persist for months. There are regularly reports of deaths due to those symtoms attributed whenever its used in large amounts anywhere for "crowd dispersal" to the point that we should just reclassify it as a "lethal chemical weapon" , however interest groups have severely opposed this stance for decades now and unfortunately its the ones with the money ,politicians and arms on their side. However in some countries local authorities have changes their doctrines about its use as more of a last resort or for it to be used in small amounts as more of a warning then fired into crowds like we see it being used by US , German police or Israeli military against protestors.
