Round 2 models needs to get the mold and release this classic kit .
Where can I get the decals
👍
Awesome
How did u make that rotatable stand for the car!!he me out?
It’s just a powered turn table from Amazon.
El camión muy bien, pero la figura del hombre de nieve se ve rara, mas bien parece el abominable hombre de las nieves...horroroso
GJ bro, i made it as well when i was like 10, but its orange lol Your colour looks hella crisp
Link for site for the gold and black stripes?
Brilliant,
Awesome job on your Herbie!!!! Thanks for sharing

the irony is that this is a picture slide show on a VIDEO site lol
Job well done Looks just like in the movie.

I love this one it's very good indeed nice ❤❤
Re-release this kit ,... some one has the molds ....
loved this show as a kid
Beautiful 👑
How did you have that truck to have a fith wheel hitch?
How did you keep the inside of the body white? Great builds!
Where did you get this , kit from ?
eBay
@@cmtscalemodelsI had the original back in the 80's , Someone has the molds .....
Great dio Man!
would be amazing if you could provide any instructions especially where to get the decals etc. great job
They were decals. They were cut from reflective tape. The bird head shapes were found on the web, printed, then transferred to the reflective tape, cutout and applied.
Great great great 😎🤩😎🤩😎
Nice build! Thanks for sharing.
Really great work elevating this kit and adding some accurate details like the wing end plates and air scoop. I really enjoy these old amt Indycar kits.
Appreciate it. I was shocked to learn when I pursued this build that there was never a kit made specifically of this car. I had to use the closest version of the March 86C that I could find. There are some resin transkit parts on the web to make the conversion but all those I found were out of stock. The only things I did not try to replicate were the rear suspension, the position of the turbo and associated plumbing.
@@cmtscalemodels yes. This kit is really more of an 88c with some different bodywork. I haven’t ever made the modifications to make it a proper 86c. Still fun to build them in some different liveries.
@@kyledehartsscaleworks head scratcher there since the Cummins model kit is labeled 86C, and if I'm not mistaken that car was the '87 Indy winner. Obviously, I'm not an expert on indy cars. I just know cars in general that I like and then I set out to build them. The Rahal car was always a fav. I was really shocked at the differences between the Rahal car and the Cummins car discovered once I started the build. I tried to do some research to specifically define all the difference but couldn't find too much other than the obvious visual differences.
@@cmtscalemodels so I think the story is they did the tooling for the March 88 to go with their new Lola T8800 kits. Then when that was going on Al Unser Sr went out and won the 500 in a year old March. So AMT/Ertl decided to capitalize on that and box the 88c with some different body work as the Indy 500 winner. Definitely a bizarre circumstance.
Best Batcave model I have seen no doubt.
Thank you
Very nice build. Excellent work on this one. Thanks for sharing.
Appreciate it.
Phenomenal job! I can hear the Snowman cackling at ol Fred right now. Great attention to detail with the calculator sitting on top of the police scanner and everything. Even down to the Hobbs anti sail flaps. Great work!
Great Job 🎉❤
I have the parts waiting for the decals to come. Do you have added pictures
Wow nobody commented, This was a fun car to build. I take it you did the 77 Firebird, Smokey and the Bandit edition. It didn't come with Trans Am On the decal sheet. I had to print my own. Great build man, goes great with the truck!! Cheers Earl
Appreciate it.
Nice build. It's cool to see other guys assembly. I just posted my build too, Check it out. I didn't put any people in mine. I did realize it was a short wheel base till I saw your vid and then went back to the movie. It's Cool!! Cheers! Earl
I will check it out
Bad kit! Aoshima is awesome!
Was the Russ wheeler body meant to be the super flow ?
Nope! Russ Wheeler only ever drove the Superflow, if you follow the movie storyline, when Cole was recovering from the big wreck, and never shown on film. Next you hear of Russ Wheeler’s name was the announcement on TV that he’s the new driver of the Hardee’s #18. Which is the only car he’s ever shown driving in the movie.
Russ Wheeler's car is more yellow in the movie?
I don’t disagree depending on what scenes of the movie you look at. If you google and research the real Hardee’s cars that were raced the orange shows darker, yet maybe still a bit lighter than how mine looks . Mainly any paint color filmed in direct sunlight will always appear brighter than under artificial light, as the light mine is filmed in. Then I also watched several documentaries on the making of the film. The pit crews that built the stunt scene cars talked about the use of neon colored paint, which ironically would fade out from the sun after a few days of filming requiring constant repainting. Even if you watch the movie you would think that orange was about ten different shades. And don’t get me started on their ridiculous use of dirt and track dust making the cars look more like they were racing in a mud pit. Closing, my interpretation is more what the real race cars would have looked like while under garage lighting, in the case where you’re seeing them in my video.
Hey, make an “infinity tunnel” at the Batmobile’s exit/entrance and you will love it.
where did you obtain the decals... I got my decals form Truckmodeling... angreybeaver decals.. Please advise..
They are the same ones. I just posted my build too, check it out. How far along are you on your build? Cheers Earl
I did that same towel as shag carpet trick for my dumb and dumber van
Hooo shit!!! It was my favorite series when I was younger. I love it, I've been thinking about doing the same thing for a while. I already have a TRX-4M but it's the defender, I have to buy the Cheyenne K10 to do like you. Thanks I love it !!!
Perfecto !!!
Nice! How much did you need to shorten the frame?
I believe I saw this build on scale modelers online magazine a few years back and was inspired to start my own complete Smokey and the Bandit model kit. I got Bandit 1 unbuilt, I wanted to start building Snowman's Kenworth Bandit #2 being a son of a trucker and a former trucker and this being me and Dad's favorite film of all time. The AMT W925 Kenworth kit was pretty troublesome for me, I've heard others talk about how the molds were kind of old and very difficult to work with some of the parts that were warped or fit poorly. And the barely poorly rolling chassis got destroyed in a box in the closet so I gave up except that I built a great tandem wheel set for the Fruehauf trailer, and even made correct looking landing gear inspired by yours being scratch made. As well as the false reefer unit that I actually have to say came out pretty well and sat right in the center of the head rack of the trailer. I am actually going to use the Revell W900 aerodyne Kenworth kit chassis, with the W925 AMT cab sleeper and hood, since it seems like the frame is just the right length on the W900 Revell. You have an awesome channel and the most incredible model builds with the most detail!
Appreciate it.
Cool model.
Which model kit did you build this from? 🏁
Revell’s Chevelle SS 396 kit
Nice work! Thanks!
Nice 👍........ Would definitely like to see more on how you did the turntable and install all the lights.......... The rocking up-and-down. Makes you a little seasick, though.
You put in so much work but the white paint part in the back is not right
You did a Great job on your Lambo!!!! Nicely Done!!! Thanks for sharing
