@@UncommonEDC yeah! This one's got fiber optic sights, which is pretty cool. Haven't broken it out yet - still trying to get the hang of the other 😂 and yeah! The battery bank looks really cool. I kinda had to run after the vid so I haven't checked it out yet, but it sounded really cool

Yeah man, I thought I lost it on the dump, but I can't find it. Oh well. But yeah, solid as those ball bearings it came with!

It sure is a nice knife! The G10 and thumb studs really pull it together

Yeah, that's kinda my feelings. I was excited to see what another company came up with, but Victorinox is the best around. I do really like the Micarta, though.

@@shkibby1 yes I know what you mean, but I’ve come full circle on the blade steel thing. Vics can be sharpened in a survival situation , corrosion resistant and generally the perfect pocket tool. I’ve heard hard steels can be brittle and if you chip one in the field? How do you sharpen it , also some rust easily

I'm sorry to hear that! I like it quite a bit, but different strokes for different folks I guess. What would you have preferred? I'm still waiting on a cast iron or carbon steel skillet - is that something you'd be into?

@shkibby1 I'm mean the table is cool and definitely the seed vault is invaluable but the rest is garbage cooking equipment would definitely be a plus since we are in camping season

I sure did like carrying it a little yesterday, they've got great Micarta. And this one feels much more solid than the Grande I had previously - I like it a bunch

Yeah, not sure. It's pretty fun though, good for a laugh 😁 reminds me of getting Skilcraft stuff that was loaded backwards so the only parts that get ink make it read Kilcraft. Not entirely sure it wasn't on purpose 😂

Yeah! I'll have to go through it to check it out. It's really cool they teach how to brew, though I'm not 100% sure what that has to do with survival, I guess from a rebuilding angle? The knurling on the light is crazy aggressive, definitely a car light. I know someone was talking about getting screw tops for the bottles and using it as a 6 vial portable whiskey situation, which sounds pretty great 😂

I'll have to go back and see what I was talking about - I've slept since then 🤣 thanks for checking it out! That might've been when I use knives like X-acto knives? It's not safe, I don't recommend it, but sometimes it works best 😆

I'm glad I switched it out, it looks amazing this month. Last month looks like a phone screen lighting up in my periphery 😂 I do really like that Maniac one... It's acting as my current desk mat, hence all the ink stains 🤣

We think he's a Russian Blue, but mostly teenage pregnant mom... His brother is a tuxedo and I think his sisters had orange in them? So... It's pretty amazing he's all grey. He used to say "meowff" until he figured out we were a little making fun of him. Now he says "mairn" - it's really cute 🥰

Yeah, I was thinking the same so it was a surprise. I'm happy for it though. I think it would've been a nice option for an EZ open cutout. I keep finding myself trying to open it at the bulge and slipping off 😂

I don't have either of those, but my Bugout does get a lot of carry time when I wear shorts, so it's-a comin' 😂 But same, there's just knives strewn about the place... Sometimes it's just whatever's close

I think it's the lock bar placement for me as my fingers have to back way off such that it doesn't feel secure. To the pouch, it's the thinness and maybe I just prefer the zipper ones, but I can see why they go that style as it covers so many bases. The knife fits my hand really well and is SOO light, though I wouldn't call it a sheepsfoot - it was kinda weird I didn't catch it being a tanto at the time. I was able to carry the Corgi Pup for a bit and really liked it, though! And the sharpener is going right in a hiking bag. I'm looking forward to your vid!

I... Don't know if I have. I know I mentioned it in the first vid I recorded, but then that wasn't the first posted 🤣 Should be tomorrow, but it's a Krag Jorgensen bayonet. No problem! It's hard to put inspiration into words. Tougher than I thought it'd be and I'm sure I left stuff out

I think this was the Malga 8? I don't hate it, just disappointed. Come at the king, you best come correct... And they didn't imo. Still use it - it's my go to can opener
