In the Czech Republic, the highest superior of the FSSPX is Father Tomáš Stritzko, who recites Latin even worse, but this does not affect the validity of the sacraments.

I still remeber the first time I sang the Exsultet, I felt so alive, like the angels
This reminds me so much of Rachmaninov’s Vespers. So harmonically rich. Masterful composition, Mr. Allen! Much respect.
There is so much glorious language and imagery in the Exultet. It's one of my annual highlights of the Triduum.
I don't know what I would have been ,if I'm not a Catholic.may God bless his church..and bless the composer of this holy, healing and melodious song..I find new life in exultet
🌷🌿🌷🌿🌷🌿🌷
Each sentence so deep in meaning. To ransom a slave, you gave away your son. Who else can do that? Greatest Sacrifice.
When I was 11, I joined the adult choir. I had longed to follow my father's footsteps and take over the honor of singing the exsultet. Now I have a family of my own and a new parish that has never known a cantor but volunteer members that are unsure of the music even in ordinary season. I sang forte during mass when nobody knew the songs chosen. Father heard, and approached me, asking me to sing the exsultet. I found it hilarious and told my Dad immediately and to my surprise he told me he no longer has to sing it in my old parish. My goal is achieved tonight
congratulations brother. may we all sing in heaven too.
So evangelically amazing, reflecting on this, this Easter vigil day
Thank you for sharing this beautiful chant!
Thank you Beautifully done.
Gives me goosebumps. So beautiful. May the risen Lord bless us all. ✝️💗
Iam practicing to chant tomorrow in the absence of priest. I find life in this Exultet, no matter how difficult it is
Well done ❤
0:30, 2:12, 7:45
Thank you. I am singing this for the first time this Saturday night by request of the pastor and knowing what part can be left out as a lay music minister is helpful. I always thought it was a Deacon who was the only one allowed. Glad to know that I am not going against the Church by intoning this prayer.
My Highlight of the Easter Vigil! Carefully chosen words.
How beautifully sung! The revised music to the Exsultet can be a challenge, but here it was sung simply, yet elegantly with great ease. The ancient lyrics sung here make it one of my most cherished hymns to hear & now to sing! Thank you!
This is beautiful
Sang this years ago😢😢😢 Amazing piece. Very difficult too
Pray for me to master and proclaim the Easter and lord's resurrection to other people.
It's so splendid a master piece to listen to but one must listen with ardent zeal so much so that he/she is not taken up by the grief.
❤❤❤❤❤ , im sinner Lord Jesus, i surrender my whole being , let your light penetrate, shine every day in my life
Besides the Exsultet, the Christmas Proclamation, and the Proclamation of the Moveable Feasts (chanted on the epiphany), are there any other chanted proclamations?
Translation?
A pronunciation train wreck
2:13 4:19 6:39 8:52
This is a good practice video, but just to point out that if the Exsultet is being chanted by a lay cantor, then the following part of the Exsultet is omitted: "Therefore, dearest friends, ... And with your spirit (This part of the Exsultet can ONLY be chanted by ordained clergy)."
lucifer
What?
Cardinal Cushing wasn’t very good at speaking English either, for the record: th-cam.com/video/ZDfiVqQEEd4/w-d-xo.html
🤣😂🤣😂 Oh my gosh, is he ok????
A Bugnini invention creeping in.
好美!
I have to say…I love the chant, but you guys need to check out Tony Alonso’s setting of this prayer. “To ransom a slave” and “O Happy Fault” section is just so beautifully done in that setting.
preparing to sing this again tonight, it's the highlight of my year
2:21
Praying to the Lord that I may proclaim the Exsultet worthily and well this evening.
I have been in love with this chant since 2015. It is deep
Anglicans experience this on the eve of the Easter Vigil, sung by a clergy person. Stunningly meaningful.
This is one of the many reasons the Catholic Church recognizes your baptismal right and welcomes your convert without administering a second rite.
They got that from the Catholics…
Probably, and I'm glad. Whatever glorifies God, wherever, whenever. All is well with my soul.@@michaelryan3960
O truly necessary sin of Adam, destroyed completely by the death of Christ.
I came home to the one true faith in 1997. I have been involved as a facilitator and Coordinator in RCIA for over 20 years. I have heard the Exsultet many times. This version and this vocalist is transcendent. I must have listened 5 or 6 times. and I know I'm not done yet. Perfect for Easter.
Where do I download the pdf?
This is hands down the worst English translation imaginable.
Please can anyone help me out with the solfa notation please 🙏 🙏
