I'm a 4th generation Singaporean and my great grandfather was from Sei Yup, Yan Peng. Used to hear my grandparents speak Hoisanese and now I'm learning my ancestors dialect from TH-cam. Planning to go back to Sei Yup, Yan Peng to visit their wet markets and try out their cuisine. Does Ning Yueng Wui Koon has any visit programs to Hoisan?

Malay Settlers? Malays did not come from any where. Malays are the indigenous people of Singapore. Max, some might have come from neighbouring islands - Malay Nusantara.

Poh Piah is not even mentioned as Malaysian Poh Piah while she mentioned the difference between Singaporean Poh Piah and Thai Poh Piah. Those who knows know Poh Piah will know it’s origin. I do enjoy the video and the way the owner present it.

Dear heritage board, I look into your website and realise that the recent heritage fest is very similar to "My community Festival", Even the food tours and the markets tours are almost copied. I have also found a picture on your website featuring "My Community" pictures with their logo. I am actually very dismay to see such similarities. My community is a non profit organisation, trying to survive in this COVID environment. How can a government program copy a non profit organisation and even make it free. It seems as though you are forcing them out of job and to think that our country is supposed to help companies survive. I hope that you all should really help companies survive by collaborating instead of coping them. This is a disappointment.
