Beautiful film & something I’ve thought about often, but you told the story so well.

What a powerful movie! Widowers like myself know EXACTLY what James is struggling with…his efforts in coming to the reality that Lydia is not returning to him, yet knowing he loves her more than he’s ever had. He has many empty days ahead of him, and it stirs up the bitter loneliness in all of us who have already gone through this. Truly a magnificent film! 😥

Hi All, especially to those who lost loved one's. I to lost my first wife back in 2009, she was my best friend and we have 3 boys together, they were 13(twins) and 16 year old at the time. Now what I can say truly is that I am completely at peace back then as well as now. All my boys are doing well and happily married, Why Because 2 years before she passed she brought Christ into our home and became a believer. At the time I was like "oh geeze here we go, now Jesus" but I was intelligent enough to know my wife always brought good things to me, so I kept my mouth shut and went to church with her. Well a year before she died God spoke to me and said " Son You need to learn more about me, you need to get shored up in me, go to this ministry place in Georgia ( it was called Be in Health). So I turned our mad max 5th wheel (RV) around ( we, my wife and 3 boys were in Baha, heading down to South America to try and run away from the NWO. Went to the ministry place and long story short accepted Jesus as my Savior. That night God gave me a vision and he showed me 2 large sail boats, split frame 1 on each side. The sail boat on the left was not moving and the sail was flapping wildly in the wind, then the right sail boat had a huge wind on it, full sail and the boat was tilted at 45° to the water, slicing thru the water at a very fast pace with a golden rudder and I heard the word Immanuel, which I didn't understand at the time. I went to the pastor the next day and told him of my vision and asked him what does Immanuel mean , and he told me " God with us" which made perfect sense to me. Now I want to share another part of my testimony to you all because I think it's going to drive the point home, so one year later my wife is dying at this same ministry place. So she dies around 4:00 p.m and the last breath she took her face turned to a big noticeable smile. At the same time the pastor's wife came in and said oh look she's back with Jesus, I was just taking all this in. Now we were renting out a Mobile home the ministry place had there and I didn't want to whisk her away so quick so I had her in the same bed as me for the night. So she's dead lying next to my side and to say the least I couldn't sleep very well ( we were married for 20 years and best friends) and around 10:30pm God told me in my head John 14. Now I was a baby Christian, didn't read the Bible yet, and definitely didn't know this scripture, so I turned on the lights and bam first sentence I read "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2. In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. 3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." Now mind you when God gives you a huge Diamond, I don't know you got about five, six, eight, maybe twelve hours before Satan comes to try and steal it. So morning comes the guys come to take my wife to the crematorium place to cremate her, my mom has our boys and I am sorting out all the logistics and that night went to a hotel room and tried to sleep and that devil came to me in my head and said "you know Jonathan your wife wasn't really smiling, it was because she died and her cheeks just fell backwards because of gravity because she lost all muscle control" So I bolted up and in the hotel room there was a mirror that went all along the dresser which was over six foot long so I cleared the whole dresser and I laid down on top of the dresser and I completely relaxed my whole body, especially my face like I was dead and I peeped with my left eye to see what my cheeks were doing in the mirror, and they clearly were not going up like a smile, they were actually going down. And that's when I bolted up and said "devil your a LIAR! and you're not gonna snag me on this one. Now get the hell out of here in the mighty name of Jesus!" God carried me through the whole thing. GOD also told me "do not worry Jonathan, because you can be in Timbuktu, but I'm going to send you another beautiful bride and your life will be restored and you will have Joy" and to HIS WORD, 2 years later it came true and I have been happily married for 13 years and 2 more children. Main point, GOD SO LOVES ALL HIS CHILDREN!! Lost husband's, wives, children, babies are all back with God and you will see them again! So don't sweat it, enjoy your life and look forward to the awesome reunion you will be having!

Incredibly great movie. The message, the acting.❤ My favorite moment is when Derek asks those simple questions. It is making all the way to my heart. I have been asked to choose questions like that too and it makes me feel evan more deaply connected to the story. Incredible artwork! For person like me who doesnt have more than 15 minutes, but my heart is screaming for beautiful artwork. I cant imagine my precious time spent better than that. Thank you

Outstanding story, direction, cast. Real. Exquisitely real. And current. Why do young people need to speak so much faster than everyone else? Derek? Why the need to push so many words, phrases, sentences, into each second of time? As do the majority of younger people in our present world?

Letting go is one hardest things to do in life. One of my favorite family members was my Uncle John. We had this negative banter with each other which came from a much deeper affection. He passed away a couple of years ago. Before that, he left me a voice message, on a stand alone, in house, landline messaging system (talk about old tech), wishing me a happy birthday and telling me that he loved me. something he had never done before. I saved the recording and listen to it from time to time when I can hold back the tears. I will probably never erase it, even if it means keeping that antiquated technology!

Very realistic delivery for such a sensitive topic. I think millions more need to see this. Perhaps in hope, they can be prepared for the inevitable.

That was extraordinarily good. The two leads had excellent voices and acting. Minimal set, no action, just great character development and performance. Bravo!
