    Hi Ryan. I have just purchased the same machine and now found your site. Could you tell me about a stitch for hemming which only shows 2 stitch lines in the front of the fabric. Many thanks helen

    Thank you for demonstrating your over locker, I have just purchased the same make of machine as yours, I found your video very informative as I don't always find reading a manual is always that good at explaining things, I really purchased the machine to do rolled hems, which you made so simple to do, thank you so much for taking the time to produce this video.

    Really great information Thankyou so much, I’ve had a overlocker for at least 8 years & never used it because it just looked too complicated & I hate reading 🤦🏻 on the other hand my sewing machine it’s made it’s money back a thousand times in alterations I can do almost anything on that, 🤔 not so good on stretch material though because obviously when it is stretched after sewing the thread can break 😤

    This is the absolute best video to watch if you have trouble threading your serger. No other video (and I've watched numerous ones) shows each step so completely as this one. In threading the lower looper most just said to pull to the back. . .where? under the upper looper, below it, or where? The video shows great up close on every detail. Thank you for keeping me from throwing this machine out the window!!!

  • @russellgreet2550

    Thank you Ryan - Your video shows and explains very clearly how to thread up a overlocker for someone like me who has never used one ever. I really appreciate you took the time to show close up, so I could see clearly how to do this. A lot of other beginner how to - do not do this. Again, thank you.

    This was so informative. Quick question - 3 Years later, do you still recommend this machine? Do you still own it? I was thinking of getting one and then (much much) later investing in an industrial.

    • @RyanRixSewing
      @RyanRixSewing 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! I don’t own it anymore because I went industrial, but I definitely still recommend it. It is / was a fantastic machine that could handle many fabrics and has more than enough functions!

    Thank 29:45 you for the video. I have owned a Janome3 thread over Locker for 45 years- still going well but is currently making loops so your video should help. I have always found a 3 thread serger more than adequate as I always overlock after sewing and fitting. I have decided to have ago at making T shirts so have treated myself to a Janome 1034 DX awaiting delivery but wondering if I really need it. Hope the new one is as reliable? What are they like for blind hemming?

  • @lizsave7204
    @lizsave7204 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Was there a step missed on the lower loop? It looks like after it's thread though the little eye of the lower looper, it's also tucked in just above that but he doesn't show doing that?
