2007 Chevy Tahoe / Silverado Stabilitrak Traction Control warning MUST WATCH part issue
มุมมอง 118K4 ปีที่แล้ว
The replacement part from all of the part stores will not work. They are all selling STANDARD SWS24. It will not work and GM no longer sell the original part. ACDelco 19418403 works but no retailers computers have it as a replacement.
So I'm having the stabiltrak light come on and I have to get my obII reader and delete codes and then It will work again like nothing for a while but it also says by 2nd Bank of 02 sensor needs to be replaced you think I need to replace this or what else should I take a look at it kinda sounds like it's misfires sometimes thanks for the help You think i should change my parts as well
Thanks 🙏
video failed to explain how vehicle drove with a bad angel steering censer? and how it drove with new steering censer ? try again?
Great video!! Thank you for posting this!!
THANKS FOR VIDEO. I'm looking at changing right now. My Traction control, stabilitrak both lights on. Also my brake light. Hope this works
Okay so I went to the AC Delco genuine GM parts website and it asked me to put in the make model and year of my vehicle which is a 2007 Chevy Suburban and it tells me that does not fit 2007 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 sport utility so it says GM genuine parts steering wheel positioning sensor part number 19418403 AC Delco part number 19418403 and MSRP is 95.25 and their prices start at $78.71 I haven't hooked up the OBD reader yet but this is one of the first five steps one must take to resolve the traction control Stabilitrak issue. And this issue started after I had the elbow joints new rear brakes and tires replaced. So I just did a search for steering wheel positioning sensor and there is no such item. They do have a steering wheel nut for $13.33 which looks like a 1/4 inch screw they have steering wheels airbag deployment and radio control for steering wheel etcetera
Thanks cause I’m about to go get it today

hi will my name is tito and i view our video and i looking to try out your tip thank you for your tip , i will keep you update
Bought my STANDARD brand at oriellys. Ran out to check after your vid. They gave me SWS131 and the tang matched your original broken 2007 tang orientation. I went ahead with the swap and it worked great. Thanks for having this up so we can catch these faults before we get in trouble. Now if I could only find pins and bushings for my crawler!
Thank you very much.
Do exactly what he says to calibrate that sensor after you install it because it does work I used a doorman sensor instead of the AC Delco
After you start the car and the code comes back up on all the time do what he said turn the car off disconnect the battery reconnect the battery turn the key on turn the wheel to the right hold it for 5 seconds turn the wheel back all the way to the left for 5 seconds turn it back to the middle position it in the middle by itself then turn the key off and the code is gone forever
CAN'T EMPHASIZE ENOUGH THANK YOU FOR GOING THRU ALL THIS AND POSTING THE RESOLUTION, THIS SHOULD HAVE MORE LIKES TO BE THE FIRST RESULT AND SAVE EVERY ONE A TON OF GARBAGE SEARCH RESULTS
I have a 2007 gmc Yukon and I’m having similar issues. Would that part fit my truck as well ?
I have a 2011 gmc sierra with the same code, would this work ?
I salute you my brother thank you for a great video
Just saved me big headache wow thank you
You're the man for putting this together 👌
The part for my truck its discontinued. I found one on Ebay for $400.00. Thats crazy.
I use the dorman ones all the time, no issues
Fix it again Tony...😢
You gotta be kidding me i just busted my ass putting a replacement in fml
when your light came on, did the truck start running rough? or just lights on the dash?
Wow thank you so much
On my 2006 Trailblazer, I replaced it with a part from Amazon, but it didn't fix the problem either.
Thanks so much! Actually had that standard in my cart, when I watched this video. GOD bless!!
So the 8 pin works with the 6 pin ??? Because I can’t find 6 pin anywhere
Sws131
I’ll be trying this soon!
Thank for letting us know. 🙏
There should be a lawsuit on these car makers for all the b.s they put us through. All of these unnecessary sensors can have a major impact on a car
How do I go from a 6 pin to an 8 pin. Do I have to make modifications?
Thank you so much honestly.!
Will this stop the back and forth jerk and stop the rpm needle from rising?🤔
I need to know as well!!!
Just got mine I will keep you guys posted 2007 Chevy avalanche
What happened? How does the connector work with the 8-pin?
So I'm wondering which part you got the six of the eight pin and where you got it at and if you are able to install it and get it to work so the stability track traction control was resolved?
So where’s the update ???
Great information to know. Thank you!
Thanks So Much Fixed my problem 2008 Escalade ESV
Great job on the video Sir. You mentioned this newer part will work on a range of different year vehicles. I have a 2006 Chevy Tahoe, and I may have the same problem! Can you or is there a way to confirm?
Job well done thanks.
Gracias !!
Dealers stink
Thank you William very much
Where did you buy yours from?
Hey so I have a 2008 Tahoe Hybrid , would this work for that ?
O'Reilly auto parts employees some smart parts guys for sure. Here in dayton we have a guy that works at the hub O'Reilly's and he literally is called"hard to find Gab", because he can find your part and he knows parts that cross over just in his head... Really smart guy
A lot of these parts stores guys don't give a damn bout customers only there for a check and know nothing about cars. I've actually been told by a guy one time at an Advanced auto that they are not really allowed to give advice about your vehicle problems cause they're not certified auto technicians and the company can be held liable, its like mcds workers that never grilled a burger in their lives but hey they get hired anyway 🙄
this video is really good man, thank you. the foot work helped save me alot of headaches here. thank you bud
where i can order one i need it asap plz and great video tho
Thank you so much...I'll give it a go. Appreciate you 🙏🏾
Would this work on a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab? I bought part number ACDelco 20910871 and it fits but I still get stabilitrac/traction control error. And the original part from my truck, the middle piece spins and the ACdelco part I purchased does not spin..its secured in place...and it is an 8 pin and my original was a 6 pin.
Thanks man, I really appreciate the info. I’m going to give this a try on my Suburban. I think it will help. I’ll keep you posted.
By chance did this help out at all?
Same.....
