Wtf.. muski lover.. seriously!?
I’m glad you liked it 👌
FFS do not hold the spring like that when applying the compressors. One day they will let go and it may well be the last thing you do.
I’ve been told fingers grow back…!?
hahaha its a really great tutorial, will try on my SS 2017. Shame that ducati engineers didn't do that from factory
Best of luck mate! Hope it works.
Love the editing😂
Hast du die Pumpen Blätter nur gedreht oder ausgetauscht? Danke für deine Videos, das sind gute Informationen. Grüße
Hi, just rotate them. As you can see one side has a flat surface, that’s no longer sealing.
@@Mr.BadMechanic ja danke perfekt. Gute Arbeit!
😳😂
jajajaja que bien
Hello. Please tell me what mileage the car has? Thank you.
This car has around 127000 km
as stated in the video description
Just noticed these are the rear shocks....
Yes these are the rear ones. Be careful with the front ones when undoing the top bolts, they snap very easily.
@@Mr.BadMechanic thanks for the heads up👍
Your videos are great. They’re informative for sure but you manage to make them entertaining. Keep it going 💪
Thank you so much! 💪
This was great 🤣 Definitely subscribing
Thank you man! 🤝
Came for the shock replacement. Stayed for the memes.
Get the proper pucks to go in the jack mounts. You will split them doing that. Or is that why your monocle is Bad Mechanic. Best Dave
Thanks for the tip Dave 😉
@@Mr.BadMechanic All the Best. Dave
That’s how you do it
For the labour involved, and because it’s about the only thing that’s cheap on a BMW, I’d have changed the bump stops. I’d also put a smear of grease on the top mount. Aluminium corrosion eats them. Just wait until you see the fronts with the top mount bearing!
Thanks for the tips, will do it next time😉 I have already changed the fronts, actually wasn’t that bad…
The meme edit is cracking me up, also early @M539Restorations vibes, good job!
Man, thanks for a nice comment!👍
Thanks for the vids. How did your car get so crusty? Where has car been all its life? :D
Hi, this car came from Nordic country, I have never seen so much oxidation, it's a headache.
🖖🏻🖖🏻🖖🏻🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have also noticed that when i wash the car in the winter (canada), then put some gas in the tank....the vent on the cap freezes shut and the REX stops. I get all the codes Etc. If i pull over and remove the filler cap....melt the ice etc. The problem is fixed. I have given the cap a spritz of glycol lock deicer to melt the ice (inside the cap where the vent is). I love the i3...but it is not without it's quirks! Why is your car so dirty, suppose you don't have problems from washing it? 🤔😆
Try silicone lube for the filler cap from freezing. They’re fixing the road to my home, that’s why my car is dirty.
Well done video! Wish I had the ability and confidence to do this for our newly acquired 2016 i3. Cheers!
Just do it! 💪 It’s not that hard.
Where on the surface of Mars are you driving this thing?! Good video though 👍
Just came back from mission mars, that’s why it needed new shocks 🙃
where buy new shocks?
Same rear strut sound as mine! Brand new struts and springs....why!........😢
I laughed and cried!
Wait till the front bolts snap off, that’s fun! 😨 The sacrificial corrosion within the top mounts and the chassis is absolutely off the charts and you might find a weird gel substance in there . never seen anything like it in any car I’ve worked on
Already did the front… and yes 5 out of 6 bolts has snapped off, that was fun… NOT! Had to drill the frame and put helicoil in, fun times.
Good job! Same problem…car stops in driving Have the code for Bosch coolant pump?
Hi, the pump I have ordered was: BOSCH 0 392 024 10X. It has OE part codes: OE 11 51 8 600 285 - BMW and OE 7 643 947 - BMW
i3 has 2 coolant reservoirs Id it only one pump? How can I tell that this pump is defective?
@@o748455554 The best way is to use ISTA+ to diagnose. In my case the fan started running at full speed and water pump ran constantly. The white reservoir is for electronics and black one is for heating.
