Abbey I wouldnt feel too bad about not accomplishing everything on your list. As long as we can look back at ourselves and see that we've made any amount of improvement or accomplishment, treat that as a success and motivation to accomplish your other goals without a fixed timeline. Happy New Year! I hope you have a good 2025!

Have you ever heard of the 80/20 rule of success? Twenty percent of your effort will result in 80 percent of your success. The secret lies in finding out what the best 20% is. For instance, on TH-cam there is a proven work flow that will result in better video numbers. Keep the new habits that you've formed over the year. It will act as a new foundation and make hitting new goals easier. Would love to hear more about your past and how it affects your present.

Great video. I feel the same way. Lots of things I want to do like read more or learn a new language but my effort is short lived. Sometimes I just want to move to the middle of nowhere because the internet feels like a blackhole for creativity and focus--- yet it occasionally gives us ideas that we won't get to. I gave up drinking as well but feel tempted from time to time. It wasn't an addiction but it was certainly something I could give up, so I did. I like your videos even for just a check in and such because it's nice to compare yourself to someone in the same boat for once, very relatable. Good luck with 2025!

Disconnecting from my work self is the hardest thing, it even carries over to when I'm just out shopping! The best was realizing that the moment it hits 7, my peers also stop thinking about work and we just focus on the rest of our lives. It's not easy, for sure. I hope you're doing okay!

Even when im off work I still am thinking about work too much to the point where it kinda ruins whatever Im trying to enjoy. I used to like my job but now its getting too frustrating and stressful. If you want to feel purpose in your life work towards a tangible goal and try to make a little bit of progress every day. Whether it's accumulating financial wealth, building relationships, raising a kid, improving your athletic abilities, etc. Just do a little bit every day to work towards your goal.
