After lot of reading, I have concluded that replacing the stock header with a cat-less one and knocking the cat out of the stock header is the way to go. Also Black Widow do not offer a spark arrestor (needed where I live). Simply put, no-one makes a quiet exhaust that gets you a lot more power.

Which one is better compared to the ARROW EXHAUST you previously reviewed?

Replayed the bike taking a dive - and I can't see what happened. Things, from the camera perspective, looked fine. Looks like it will leave a mark. :)

One thing I've noticed with the 300L is that they like a little bit of back pressure. I removed end cap sound baffle on yoshimura & it sounded just like your black widow. Thinking making it more free-flowing would improve performance unfortunately I lost top end and a little bit of grunt down low opening up the exhaust.

Do you really like that exhaust. I have it and I can’t stand it with just one DB killer in and then hoping that adding the second one will make it tolerable on long rides.

Did you notice any performance enhancement? The DB killer is like a potato, and is not open all the way?

I did the YSS shock and fork kit. I would not recommend these units if you do a lot of off-roading. The shock works well when cold but fades quickly and bottoms out a lot when hot. When I ordered the fork kit the dealer didn’t mention that the warranty is void if you do the installation yourself. Also there are some special tools needed for the installation that don’t come with the kit.

I love the looks and the sound of this exhaust but I do a fair amount of camping off my bike here in the USA. Can luggage lay directly on the muffler or is it too hot. The factory muffler comes with a heat shield and the Black Widow does not. I use the Mosko Moto Reckless 80 luggage system.

If you use the other boot on the shifter you will find it easier. I'm size 10 and my boots do it easy. Stock pegs. Maybe it's because you are new to riding.

That 300L is still too tall and too heavy. You will fall down. We will have to watch the doctoring video and a repair video. Get a smaller and lighter MC or grow taller. Yes you can ride it, however, when you add bags, gear,G and rough single track trails you will fall. Go smaller or go down.
